    Old racist bastard.
    LOL.

Even a banana is exotic next to Ricky Hatton.

ricky no chance being considered p4p no1 after this if he wins. ...deep down even he should know that.

To be even considered p4p no1, he would have to face the like of JMM followed by mayweather in a rematch and beat them both.

pacman imo should be at LW at this stage in his career, he has no buisness at 140.

i personally wouldn't give hatton as much credit for this win as his performance against collazo.

its like what do you consider to be a better performance from bernard - kelly or tarver
The is no such thing as "the P4P title"! And he won't "win" it either.

This is exactly why it's so annoying. It's like Ricky is trying to convince idiots who have no idea how P4P ranking works that he's about to become the best fighter in the world if he wins. It's infuriating.

There are plenty for both to fight, namely other top fighters...it would be nice if they fought some top 140lbers instead of bouncing around divisions looking for names and chip shots like Diaz and Malignaggi.

Furthermore, Pacquiao was ranked pound for pound #1 when he was at 130. It's not a title he won recently. To think Hatton would gain the title just by beating him is a little strange. I don't even think Hatton believes it but as Goebbels said, "If you tell a lie big enough and repeat it often enough, people will start to believe it."

Exactly. Unfortunately, the moronic masses will be gullible enough to believe it.

Ok ok I'll leave it at that.

We will just have to wait and see what happens after the fight.

Oh, by the way: if you really believe what you said, then Hatton deserves no credit for beating up a tiny guy, right? That's IF he wins.
While this is true, Pacquiao has a smaller frame by nature and Ricky, a naturally bigger frame. I am amazed at how much Manny has been able to pack onto his frame; but it is not natural. This is what I'm saying, Ricky has maintained around the same fighting weight more or less in his career.

It is like Toney at heavyweight. He is not a natural heavyweight, sure he can hang in there with most (relying heavily on experience and technique to survive), but he does not have that natural **** to his punches at that height as a "natural" heavyweight does.

The same thing with Manny, he can make the weight and has the speed and good power, but not "natural welterweight" power......sorry, junior welterweight. He is adapting to the weight gain nicely, but Ricky has had to develop much, much, less and is capable of bulking up and leaning out.

I see the power being an issue for Manny as Hatton feels much more comfortable at this weight as opposed to welterweight.

My comment was meant to infer the fact that moving up in weight may have limitations at some point, the point at which a boxer's power is mitigated by their body's limitations; speed suffers as well as weight is added (I don't see speed being affected as much cause Manny is lightning quick)

If Hatton wins, he deserves credit for the win. It is not like he has been seeking out naturally smaller guys to fight in his career (can't say the same for DLH though)- it was more on the idea of the smaller guy wanting to move up for lets say bigger paydays or whatever. The same goes for JMM, I don't think he should keep moving up in weight either.

                  Ask your selves this:

when has Hatton ever entered the ring looking anything other that ripped?

That's right. Now change the tune.

pac has already shown he can fight bigger guys, so its not like ricky will get no credit for winning the fight. if he does he will fight jmm next and the winner of that would be the pfp in my opinion. if calzaghe hadnt retired he would probably be there but if not then who? people dont want to admit it cos they have some problem with hatton, but if he beats both those guys, who is left for him to beat? everyone at welter is too big, he cant compete there.
