Nobody makes threads hating on Larry Donald now do they?
I thought Larry Donald beat Valuev actually.

And the only reason I disliked Vitali is he held up the division so long because he was a cripple.

Any man that fights, and fights often as he can, and takes on challenges, I generally like.

The nationalistic and racial bias gets so ridiculous sometimes. I know a lot of times people are just messing with people, but sometimes they are actually serious, which is scary, and delusional.

i didn't say no hate, but i hate that JMM fans are trying to say that he is number one over pac for p4p. Thats bull****. he is a solid number 2 p4p, but they forget that Pac beat him just about a year ago.
And JMM is a GREAT FIGHTER no doubt. But i dont see how people try to put him over Morales and Barrera all time. Morales beat Pac convincingly, but couldn't last in a long time because he burnt his body out from all the wars he had. But when he was in his prime, he was something that we wont see in a long time.
And Barrera i think BEAT marquez in their fight by a point. And Barrera was past prime. Barrera is above him as of right now.
I mean i put Marquez up their with them as Great Mexican fighters, but not above them. And i seen Marquez fans always downgrade on Morales and Barrera and it gets annoying.

It isn't just JMM fans that are saying that but it's also well respected members of the media. While I don't agree that JMM is number 1 pfp I still think that the argument is valid.

Also I would rate JMM higher than Barrera and Morales for one big reason. Longevity!!!!

All of them are the same age and all have been thru the same wars over the years but it is JMM who is still on top. When Morales and Barrera's reflexes began to erode they became shells of what they once were. JMM got older and it didn't matter because his actual skill level was so high that his ring intellegence was able to carry him to wins over faster, younger, and stronger fighters.

In fact he really isn't any diffrent than the guy in your avatar.

In fact, Hopkins is WAY different then Marquez. Marquez just barely started getting into wars not to long ago. Morales and Barrera been in Wars back and forth for a Good period of time. Thats why they are burnt out. They were at the highest level fighting all the champions in their divisions at young ages, and being in brutal wars. Right when they started declining, thats when Marquez rose. He was the fresher fighter since 2004 out of the three even tho he was is the oldest of the three i think.
Every fighter thats been in wars dont last long in the 30's after. Look at Castillo, Corrales, Gatti, Mayorga *he fights but gets knocked out*, Barrera, Morales, etc.

barrera is not a shell of what he once was, He SHOULD have beaten Marquez like barely 2 years ago. He isn't as good as he was but he isn't shot.

And Morales fought Diaz all the way to the wire, which MANY thought he won. Dont call that a former shell of himself. He just couldn't keep his body up and he been through many wars, MANY MORE THEN MARQUEZ, and his body went bad.

Other than their fights against eachother and pacman what wars have they been in???

In fact minus those fights Barrera, Marquez and Morales have the same exact resume with one big win for each of them.

And Bringing up David Diaz is just downright dumb! He got dominated against pacman, JMM beat twice the fighters in Juan Diaz and Casamayor and Morales coudn't hold on to a 5 round lead and faded to an average fighter at best. If anything that David Diaz fight justifies my observation.

David Diaz just shows that Prime Morales is gone. Thats like saying Roy Jones sucks because he got lost to Johnson and Tarver. All fighters are different. Fighters like Morales and Barrera dont last long.
And Marquez has doesn't have the resume of Morales and Barrera. And if he does, he caught up to them right now in 2009 when Morales hasn't done anything since his first Pacquiao win. That was how long ago??? and a PAST Barrera SHOULD have got the decision against Marquez.

Fighters get their primes at different times. Hopkins hit his prime in his 30's. Marquez hit his prime in his 30's. pacquiao is still in his prime but just turn 30 *and i think he added a couple years to his prime by becoming a better boxer*.

morales was in his prime when he was in his early and late 20's. Same with Barrera. De La Hoya was in his prime in his 20's. Roy Jones in his 20's.

Every fighter is different when they hit their best.

Most of the times it's because their fans overrate them, for example I was about to dislike Williams just because some fans says he would've beaten a prime Hearns.

Flawless rarely ended his posts with a period. Strugler always does.

Fighters mostly get hatin on cuz they're rivals of the haters' favorite fighter.

I don't understand it. Why hate a fighter (or "dislike", if you prefer) because of his fans? It really doesn't make any sense. In fact, no offense to you, but it's kinda immature. Like that guy yesiamhandsome -- totally extreme fanboy. It doesn't affect my opinion on Floyd one bit.
