I consider JMM to be a great fighter, and to me you never count out great fighters (atleast while they still have it, and JMM hads not lost it yet).

I consider Pacquaio to be an acceptable fight for Floyd, so why would I not consider the man that gave him 2 life and death fights to be a credible opponent.

Cotto is not proven to be great, he is very good and could be great but he has yet to prove it. Margarito and great are not in the same time zone.

Mosley would be a good fight, but they have been in a consistent loop of one not looking to fight the other.

If Floyd and JMM were to fight I would want it at 140 or a catchweight 143-144. With the time off, and the lower weight who is to say what would happean, JMM might be able to take advantage of the situation. If Floyd smashes JMM it sets up the Pacman-Floyd fight of the decade (should Pac beat Hatton which is a strong possibility).
marquez is not even big enough for 135.

floyd can't fight the big guys in his division but it's okay to have a natural featherweight to jump up to meet him?

floyd started 2 divisions higher than 95% of jmm's fights.

man , i'd give floyd more respect for fighting kermit the frog than older fighters having to jump up to meet him.

JMM's run at 135 says otherwise. It is always ok for 2 great fighters to fight each other with weight not being much of an issue, it has happeaned a lot in the past. Floyd is not fighting right now so he has no division.~ Keep grasping at staws, it is funny.

I do not see any great welterweights, with the exception of Mosley and I have already went over that.

2 great fighters fighting are better then 1 great fighter taking on a good fighter.

Are you affraid JMM will beat Floyd, lol? Thus one upping Pacquiao forever.

Lets also not forget 80% of Floyd's fights were 2 division below where Cotto started.

So it is ok for you to demand that, but not the other way around.

                silly me.

what was i thinking expecting the lineal champ at 147 to actually fight a 147 fighter?

who cares about marg , mosley , cotto......they can't beat floyd.

floyd is unbeatable! floyd is god!

floyd is the greatest welterweight of his era! he doesn't need to fight welterweights to prove it.

if he don't want to fight welterweights then get the **** out of the division.

big difference between a guy who barely has 2 fights at 135 to fight a 147 guy and a guy who has been fighting at 147.

                  besides 2 divisions?

cotto started at 140. floyd even though he won his 1st title at 130 fought most of his fights above 130 even in the beginning.

He is not the champ anymore. If he comes back to be welterweight champion maybe you have a point, but he does not have to come back at 147 considering the bigger names are below 147.

Margarito is a cheater so I do nto get why you even bring him up, he is a disgrace.

Cotto and Mosley are worthy opponents for him, I doubt that Mosley can beat him at this point but he deserves a shot. Cotto has work to do to earn that shot, Gomez, TKO by Margarito, Micheal Jennings is not an impressive run his last 3 fights. He should be able to get back on track though and when he does it would be a good fight.

Any man is beatable~, and I consider him to be the greastest SFW.

Please try again, you can do better then this.

He is not fighting so he has no division at this point. If he comes back who knows what his plans are. It probably invovles him making the most possible money, which would end up involving Pacquiao.

Yea 4 fights (and 1 above) at welter is such a huge deal, get out of here.
