Honestly if Floyd were to come back at Junior welterweight and state that the welterweights are too big and he moved up only for the big fights, I would be fine with it. I too was completely juiced how Marquez endured and with very efficient mechanics, experienced skills and steadfast determination under fire broke down Diaz and took it. I mean rock solid, complete respect. But Floyd destroys him at 140 and everyone else for that matter.

JMM is a great fighter, I would rather see 2 great fighters fight regardless of weight then watcha great fight fight a good fighter.

I consider JMM to be a great fighter, and to me you never count out great fighters (atleast while they still have it, and JMM hads not lost it yet).

I consider Pacquaio to be an acceptable fight for Floyd, so why would I not consider the man that gave him 2 life and death fights to be a credible opponent.

Cotto is not proven to be great, he is very good and could be great but he has yet to prove it. Margarito and great are not in the same time zone.

Mosley would be a good fight, but they have been in a consistent loop of one not looking to fight the other.


If Floyd and JMM were to fight I would want it at 140 or a catchweight 143-144. With the time off, and the lower weight who is to say what would happean, JMM might be able to take advantage of the situation. If Floyd smashes JMM it sets up the Pacman-Floyd fight of the decade (should Pac beat Hatton which is a strong possibility).
