Of course he didn't duck him. That's what Campbell's camp will claim. Campbell's camp said that GBP had no interest in making Campbell-Marquez so they could keep their golden boy belt all in the family. He said that the Marquez fight wasn't serious about their claims

Whatever makes Campbell look like the better fighter....

Not only was Diaz a more marketable fight, but it was also a tough one. Its not like Diaz was a Bruseles or DAVID Diaz of the division. Marquez still chose a tough fight in his SECOND fight at lightweight and wanted ANOTHER tough fight in Campbell next.

Campbell had an opportunity and he ****ed up. He has and his fans have no one to blame but Campbell.

Who knows, if Campbell makes a name for himself at 140, there still may be a possibility.
People just like to say that fighters duck each other. If I was you, I wouldn't take it too seriously. Heavy is the head that wears the crown. When you're on top everyone is gunning for you and if they don't get a crack at it there will be haters who say that the king was ducking them. It is what it is.

Am I the only one, who thinks that campbell is winning on the inside and has a good chance at scoring a knockdown?
Marquez got hit a lot on the inside by Diaz and he for sure can't handle Campbells's power. He also got pushed around a lot and Campbell is stronger than Diaz.

He got hit a lot because Diaz is a volume puncher. Nate is not. He pressures, but by coming forward with 2-3 punch combos which are easier to counter than 4-6 punch combos.
