Marquez was willing to fight Nate Campbell after Diaz

The Marquez camp publicly stated that they wanted Campbell after Diaz. All this "Marquez ducked Campbell for an easy fight with Diaz who Campbell beat already" is pretty much BS.

Not only was Diaz a more marketable fight, but it was also a tough one. Its not like Diaz was a Bruseles or DAVID Diaz of the division. Marquez still chose a tough fight in his SECOND fight at lightweight and wanted ANOTHER tough fight in Campbell next.

Campbell had an opportunity and he ****ed up. He has and his fans have no one to blame but Campbell.

Who knows, if Campbell makes a name for himself at 140, there still may be a possibility.

JMM will knock out Campbell in 7 rounds, or less.

No need to fight an old Champion in my opinion. The guy doesn't even have a belt.......too risky.....could mess up his Trilogy fight with Pac.

I honestly think Campbell would have been an easier fight for JMM than Diaz. The pinpoint accuracy would have caught up with Campbell, and I suppose he would have been stopped somewhere in the late rounds.

                Marquez stops Campbell.

He's done at lightweight now, i hope he gets a pacman trilogy.

                He deserves it.
