I don't care what anybody says.mayweather, pacman, hatton, mosley,Campbell are all great matchups.I'd watch any of those fights.his fights with Diaz & casamayor were great wins for him.who wouldn't want to see him fight any of the best pfp fighters?

Then he took the fight with John in order to get a belt again, and the fact the he was willing to fight in Indonesia for peanuts does indeed show that he had guts, IMO.
it also shows that he was protecting his undeserved draw agaisnt pac

What I'm saying is that looking at it now, win or lose, Chris John is an impressive name on the resume. That's a tough fight to take anywhere, especially in Indonesia.

But you're the one bringing up money. I'm just talking about fighting.

Marquez was also stripped of his WBA title. In March 2006, Marquez traveled to Indonesia to face WBA featherweight champion Chris John, for just $31,500, and lost a unanimous decision.
Thank you for the info. My lazy ass should have Googled that myself. But it's hard enough trying to work and coming to this site every 20 minutes.

              Pacman Fury

After Pacquiao slaughters Hatton inside 8 rounds i honestly dont think hell take a trilogy bout with Marquez (as much as id love to see it!) because hes just so dangerous, soooo hes gunna want the BIG money fights (not sayin Marquez wouldnt be a MEGA fight)...but i honestly see a Pacquiao vs Cotto fight happening before a Pacquiao vs Marquez III... hes gunna want to fight people hes never fought before he takes any rematch, especially with him campaigning at 140lbs now. heres my breakdown on wat pacman will do:

              Pacquiao vs Hatton (DUH)
              2. Pacquiao vs Cotto (WOOOOO! MEGA fight)
              3. Pacquiao vs Hatton II (MEGA fight to shut Hattons Crying ass up)
              4. Pacquiao vs Marquez III (HUGE MEGA fight)
              5. Pacquiao vs Mosley (for the BIG Challenge)
              6. Pacquiao vs Campbell or maybe Juan Diaz (hope not)
              7. Pacquiao vs Valero (on his way out of the sport)

Marquez is doing the right thing. Hes putting pressure on a third Manny fight. For all those people who think Marquez is being a crybaby? how about you lose the biggest fight of your carreer when everyone including filipinos(donaire) believe you should have won. Marquez just wants what he and most experts believe he should have been on march 15 last year #1 P4P

He wont make it past Cotto, thats where it stops and he permanantly moves back down, where then he MUST fight Marquez again
