OK, we get it. Pac has way more money than JMM. I'm sure boxing fans here rate their favorite boxers by their bank accounts. It's not vicious body shots or beautiful left hooks. It's watching fighters count their money like Scrooge McDuck that gets them excited.

But if marquez wins the 3rd fight, will we have a 4th fight? Cuz the first bout was a draw.

well it was really a win for pacman cause of the scoring error but technically its still a D in the record but marquez will lose for the third time and then ask for another rematch

No we wont have a 4th fight if Marquez wins cause IF he does, Marquez will then retire happy and his fans will finally shut up about the whole Pacquaio thing, but if he looses he will want a 5th if he looses again he willl want a 6th, until he finally gets that win and when he finally gets that win his fans will claim that hes was better then Pacquiao all along even though its Pacs 5 wins over 1 win for Marquez.

One thing he should do IF Pacquiao looses to Hatton, Marquez should go for Hatton next. Beat the man that beat the man. Now thats a big IF Hatton gets passed Pacquiao.

It's not so much of how much money each has in their current bank accounts. Given the trend of what Pac has been demanding, you don't think it's realistic that he would make such a demand? Not that there's anything wrong with it.. hell I'd probably do the same. Somehow he now thinks he should get the bigger piece of the pie. Deservedly or not.

It's about the fact that the first two fights weren't decisive - the first was a draw and many boxing experts scored the second for JMM. If there was a decisive win for either fighter in their next fight, that would be the end of it, I'm sure.

Anyway, there have been many great multi-fight rivalries in the past, like Zale-Graziano, or more recently Vasquez-Marquez. Rivalries like that are great for boxing, which is why Zale-Graziano is still talked about today.

Negotiations are just added drama for fights. Pac has always seemed like a cool dude. I don't think he would ask for something that outrageous, but who knows? People change. It's just that most of the time, history will remember what happened inside the ring and not necessarily what each fighter got paid.

JMM is not gonna fight for free or for peanuts. I'm sure he'd love to score some big paydays like everyone else. But somehow I think he's shown that a victory over Pac is driving him more than the PPV revenue. He's convinced me that he really, really wants that W. While with some other fighters, you know it's strictly about the money and not their legacy.

Yep, JMM chose to fight Chis John for 30K rather than rematch Pac.
