You picked Hatton to beat Mayweather if I remember correctly. He's a good fighter.

The 140 division isn't terrible. Paulie gave Cotto a good fight. Urango is good. Tszyu was still a great fighter even past his prime. Hell at 147, most think he beat Luis Collazo. A lot more people thought Hatton beat Collazo then Berto did.

Do you forgot that the fight against Collazo was a gift? Even the British press though that he lost the fight.

Really Hatton has to be able to withstand punishment to deliver a beating. If he can not take the punishment that Pacman is dishing out, he has no hope of winning.

The straight left, right jab and right hook should all be there Pacquaio. If he can keep proper range it will be a very long night for Hatton.

Do you think Hatton could be a top 5 fighter at 135lbs right now? Or an top name at 147lbs?

140 is such a weak division that guys like Holt and Bradley even have a shot at being World Champ. It's pathethic.
Yeah. 168 might slightly be a better division. Lucian Bute, Jermain Taylor, Kessler, Froch, Andre Ward, and Miranda.

In all fairness we could pick apart anyone's resume like Hatton's but he is somewhat overrated. Urango's ok, Malignaggi can't crack a egg punching, Kosta was past prime or washed up. Castillo was shot for sure.Only one way Hatton beats Pacquiao and that's in a war and even then idk.

Only way I could see Hatton winning is a tough grueling brawl and Hatton can't keep it on the inside a lot. At distance Pacquaio will time and outbox the **** outta him IMO. Hatton will prolly come out boxing but will realize Manny is far better in that department. Hatton gets stopped right before or around the championship rounds is what I predict.

                  It is. Yes.

"The greenest eyes I ever saw" would be a way to use it, but you could use it like you already did, too.

Whilst I don't think you were miles from the mark it was overly harsh. The man is definately not a bum. Granted he has built his legacy beating very past prime/shot fighters in a division lacking any sort of depth, but he has still had an impressive career at 140. I'm not a huge fan as I don't particularly buy the "working class hero" act he tries to put on and I hate watching his style of fighting, but he has still had a damn good career.

Ricky Hatton Deserves more then whats being given. He's a skilled fight at 140 and i thought he'd do better at 147. His body attack with be either his Golden Egg, or the **** on his cake. He cant out box Manny P. So he'll have to hold and hit.
