So he tkoed Kostya, Paulie, won a controversial decision against Colazo who lost another controversial one against Berto in which fight he actually seemed to do better. Urango won like a round or two and then punished Ngoudjo who is a very talented fighter. Fought Floyd, his monkey crouch, elbowing, holding and Cortez, gave it all and was tkoed, so that means Ricky is ****.

Don't forget that Bernard was ruling an even ****tier middleweight division.

You're being a little harsh on Hatton but you don't care and I know why. I mean, let's be honest...it's true. Ricky Hatton has one really solid win in his resume, when a 35-year old Kostya Tszyu who had fought three rounds in two years decided to fight him on his territory at 2 in the morning.

Hey, Ricky did his thing. And deserves props for the win--although it is a win that begs almost a similar win to solidify the fighter's stature. I mean, honestly, you can argue that Vernon Forrest has had a better career than Hatton. I sat ringside when he fought Collazo and you've got to be a real dingbat to think Ricky won that fight. His "body work" was largely ineffective seeing as how he was the one barely holding on for dear life while Collazo was scoring knockdowns the ref wasn't even counting. Collazo beat him worse than he did Berto. One of the worst decisions I've seen in years. And forgive me if I'm not jumping up and down because you beat a Paulie Malignaggi who was even worse than the guy Cotto fought. That makes you a good fighter, nothing more. And nothing wrong with that.

Hatton has a grand opportunity to perhaps solidify himself as somewhat great by beating the Pacman. But I wouldn't bet on it because, quite frankly, he's more exciting than he is good.

Fighting at two in the morning was not an advantage for Ricky by any stretch of the imagination- infact it was probably more difficult for him then Kostya. Ricky had to adjust his body clock, and was actually training and doing his road work in the middle of the night. In contrast, 2am uk time is 12pm in the afternoon Aussie time - for this reason Tyszu decided to stay on his usual timeclock.

Vernon is a high quality fighter with a tremendous amature background but I cannot see where you're coming from trying to say that he's achieved more then Ricky. He has also lost twice to Mayorga.

You where rinside for the Collazo fight, I wasnt so I cannot argue with your opinion. To me Ricky won the fight, but had to come through quite a few difficult moments but come through them he did. Either way you look at it, I cannot accept that it was any kind of robbery.

Agreed that the Pac fight is definatley a key fight for his legacy - he cannot afford to lose it, and I don't think he will.
