Bernard Hopkins wants Adamek if he wins tonight

Wrong, age is a factor, he is 44 for crying out loud. If age wasnt a factor Hop would be fighting the same style he did when he was 28-29, but he changed his style many years ago to adapt to his ageing, he cant do those things he used to do because of age.

He has aged better than any other boxer in history, IMO, even including Archie Moore. He has had to change his style, but he's still rated the third best fighter in the world at any weight, much higher than Dawson and infinitely higher than Adamek.

I think age is still a huge factor, he is able to be ranked what he is in the P4P because of smarts and his style. Age comes into factor when he is forced to pick up the pace, we saw that with Calzaghe, the problem most fighters have is that Hop is usually the one dictating the pace in the fight, upset his rythmn and its not the same.

I think there's no way Hopkins can lose, Adamek is tailor made for Hopkins style: coming right forward allowing Hopkins to counter punch and attack in the trenches when he needs to.

It's even worse for Adamek because even if he finds something against B-Hop, it probably wouldn't last long because Hopkins always comes to the ring with a back-up plan for the back-up plan of his back-up plan's back-up plan.

I don't see the point. Bernard would skool Adamek. Bernard would be better off just having Pavlik's win as his last win. Dawson looks much better if he wanna keep fighting.

According to Dan's chat. Wouldn't it be awesome if the fight was April 18th? Adamek would be absolutely even more awesome if he kept making defenses with only 1 month off against solid competition.

I think Hopkins beats him easy, but it's an interesting fight to see how Hopkins does against the man in the crusierweight division. I'd like him to fight Dawson, but I'll be happy if Hopkins fights Adamek because it's his chance to be a 3 division champ.

I too think he would beat Adamek comfortably. Adamek is not a big CW either.
