Fair point, but he doesn't age like anyone else does, he's still P4P #3, so his age is far less of a factor than it would be with anyone else; and Dawson is the fight the fans would far rather see.

i think this is a great fight for bhop ... i prob woulda liked to see him fight chad instead, but this fight earns him more points legacy wise imo. to be the man at 160 175 and 200 would be really impressive.

Thats a lot of weight for Old Man Hopkins to be jumping at this point. Still, call me crazy but I think he would find a way to win.

Hopkins is my favorite fighter but I'm going to keep it real - he probably doesn't want any part of Dawson. As others have mentioned he is 44 and Dawson has the style to present some reason problems for him at this stage of his career and he knows this. However, he simply doesn't need this fight since he's already proven himself and is better off finding another solid challenge he can deal with that would actually have some significance such as capturing a belt at another weight class.

Going for his third RING title, he'd REALLY be stamping out a legacy.

Don't forget that Adamek is a blown up Light Heavy. Sure he's been there for a while but B-Hop has the pull to make it at a catch weight of possibly 180-185. But either way I think he's school Adamek. Dawson on the other hand, as much as I would wanna see it happen I don't at the same time. B-Hop is 1 of my favorite and an ATG while Dawson is the future of LHW. I wouldnt want to see either lose

Wrong, age is a factor, he is 44 for crying out loud. If age wasnt a factor Hop would be fighting the same style he did when he was 28-29, but he changed his style many years ago to adapt to his ageing, he cant do those things he used to do because of age.
