Im not saying it is. This applies to ALL fans who condone and defend **** like this. Just so happens that i see it coming from more Floyd diehards than any other fan.

I see it just as much with fans of the other fighters I mentioned. When Taylor was going to fight Green rather than Froch because it made slightly more money, every single American fan in the thread condoned it.

Shame on them then. Im a fan of competitive matchups. Its not my concern how much the fighters are making. Like i said...."That for them and thier financial advisors to worry about, not the fans"

if their is a problem with getting a guarnteed 15M, GBP and Top Rank waive your fee. Hbo cut your %. We as fans shouldn't be mad at the fighters getting some $$$ for a lifetime fight. We should be mad at the bloodsuckers who are pimping the sport!

We all have our favorites and our favorite to hate, but in common we love boxing. If we can unite and demand that the sport gets it's fair representation, the athletes get rewarded for the effort, then everyhtign is good and more fights would get made.

People have said these are tough economic times....well that ain't stopping Lebron from getting his $$$, that ain't stopping the #1 pick in football from getting his $$$ without proving anything, they aint stopping A-Roid from getting his $$$.

We need to unite together and get our sport some damn representation. We want highlights on Sportscenter, we boxing shorts in MC sports, we want pacman on david letterman, we want a boxing live for chirst sakes!

Floyd is an excellent fighter But watching him fight every year or two isn't such a treat he's worth 20 mil. Now if he had cleaned out 147 and was looking to cash out, I could understand. But this? This just makes a person feel like they're being held up.

judah.. is his biggest win & only threat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! big accomplishment!!!

one question.... for you... u claim that cotto fights for vacant belts.. and all that ****..

do you think is for the same reason, that floyd preffers to vacate instead of defend his???

or.. u are gonna talk to me ... about the GREAT VICTORY OVER THE GRAN LINEAL CHAMP in baldomir??

or the GATTI DESTRUCTION?? oor!! the DLH fight.. ??

listen.. i already told you.. from 140 down... hands down.. floyd the best.. no question about that.... and hes the better athlete..better skills... and all what u want to say and ride!

147 and above is another story.. !!!

u cant come here and diss cotto ... and glorify your *****.. and pretend to everybody to agree with you?

cotto is about pushing himself to the limit!! a thing that your boy doesnt do.. sinse he fought diego corrales..
Who at 147 did Cotto beat? Judah? PBF beat him first & didn't get his face busted open like Cotto did? PBF didn't have to low blow Zab Judah TWICE but Zab Judah had to low blow PBF to stop from getting his ass whipped & THAT'S FACTS. Cotto fought a close fight with Shane Mosley, he won, I give him that but then he fought Alfonzo Gomez (BUM) & then got DEMOLISHED by Antonio Margarito (OVERRATED CHEATER)? PBF's quality of his opponents throughout his career were far more impressive than Cotto's.

The same guy Clottey stood his ground with (Margarito) having a messed up hand. The same guy Paul Williams SCHOOLED by UNANIMOUS DECISION. The same guy that Shane Mosley gave a one sided ass whipping to. Miguel Cotto & Kermit Cintron got MOPPED by Margarito? What does that tell you about the both of them? Cotto got a gift win from Michael Jennings & he is celebrated as the best fighter at 147? You guys are smoking.

PBF don't even get hit that much & he has been winning titles in 5 different divisions and been champ for 10 years undefeated. Cotto cheated Zab, struggled with Mosley & got DESTROYED by Margarito & fought two GIFT WINS to pad his record (GOMEZ/JENNINGS) WOW VERY IMPRESSIVE
(Being Sarcastic). PBF became the recognize Champ at 147 regardless
if Baldomir was weak or not did Cotto do that?

i rather pay 10mill to pac, because he went from 13X to 147 to take a challenge that no one believed he can do it. for me right now PAC is the true p4p not only a hype like FM
so u think Floyd mayweather is defined by a title? Was oscar defined by that title? How many floyd fights have u seen?

I admit, I didn't think pacman could beat oscar, but that oscar that pacman fought doesn't make it surprising. Oscar was not Oscar. If Pacman beats Hatton, then i'll give him his P4P thrown, but right now...we don't have one.
              [/QUOTE]

You keep comparing Floyd to Oscar. There is no comparison when it comes to drawing power. None. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

u know ths kinda like the dems and gop, both want the same thing, but got different ideas of getting there.

People like u want fighters to fight the best regardless of $$$. People like me want fighters to fight the best, but realize it take $$$ for that to happen.

U wanna talk facts? Judah won more rounds against Floyd than he did against Cotto, and dropped Floyd but the ref didnt count it. Cotto's win was much more dominating. Fact!

                    Cotto's run/oponnents/accomplishments at 147 despite his (now contraversial loss to Margarito) >>> Floyd's run/opponents/accomplishments at 147. Fact!

why are u demanding he clean out a division...what fighter at the top/end of his career clean out a division.

If he wanted to make a name for himself, i would agree with u, but he has a name. Dude ain't never came to the ring lackluster or disrespected the game ever. He always in tiptop preparation....pay da man!
