If he does business with Arum to Fight Pacquiao, how can we say he's not Dodging Cotto?

Pacquiao is woth a lot more than Cotto I'm afraid. I'm sure if you came across a nasty ***** in highschool that you vowed never to smash, and all of the sudden she was hot you would hit it wouldn't you?

well in order to accurately assess his drawing power, we'll have to see how he does against someone not hatton or oscar who are arguably the 2 most popular fighters in the world with pac coming in 3rd. U think its a coincidence that his ppv#'s with baldomir did 350k, then jumped to 2.4 million with delahoya in his very next fight? Floyd on his own name is a decent draw, but in order to rake in big numbers, he needs a very popular opponent. Oscar did just shy of a mil fighting mayorga!

When will some of you people realize boxing has always been a business about money. Truly the only thing that has changed from back then till now is that back in the day only mega fights made big money. Now when have people like De la Hoya who can make 20 mil fighting Steve Forbes of course boxing is going to be messed up. If boxing would go back to only paying fighter real big money for mega fights the best would be forced to fight the best because that is the only way they could get paid big money. In today's game if a fighter can make 5 mil fighting a guy who fought all his fights New Guinea and the promoter makes damn near 2-3 times that why would they upset the applecart?

He could easily get $20,000,000 + for fighting... the fans want him to come back so much it is unbelievable (boxing fans), a fight with him would have buy written all over it.

He could easily get at least $20,000,000 against Pacquiao... he got it against Hatton and De La Hoya so I don't see why not, a Mosley bout might make him at least $20,000,000 at a push but I am unsure whether that would make such cash.

However I gotta admit to ask for $20,000,000 GUARANTEED is a bit of a push in my opinion, but if I think they guarantee him $15,000,000 he will take it... he is just bluffing and playing the game to see how much he can get maximum.

Mayweathers hype is exactly my point. He claims to be the best because it makes 'dollars & sense' to make those outrageous cliams. But You probably haven't been on this site long enough to know there's fans that grab his claim and defend it religiously.

Floyd found the niche to market himself so well as a business man, but people mistake that as greatness. The Buzz sways people to believe he's the greatest of all time, WHILE he's ducking the elite.

Prior to Oscar, Pac was putting up similar numbers. Cotto and Mosley are yet to become major stars/draws. I'm not trying to minimize 350k. Im just saying that its faaaaaaaaaaaaar less than what he did in his very next fight with Oscar which was 2.4mil.
