Mayweather Wants $20 Million For Pacquiao, Mosley Bouts

alot of people have said "Floyd don't draw a crowd or have enough popularity to ask for 20M". Ok fine, but besides Oscar, who draws more than him. Not Cotto or Pacman or Mosleyor anybody. Pay the man atleast 15M! There is no active fighter who is more popular at the moment.

if their is a problem with getting a guarnteed 15M, GBP and Top Rank waive your fee. Hbo cut your %. We as fans shouldn't be mad at the fighters getting some $$$ for a lifetime fight. We should be mad at the bloodsuckers who are pimping the sport!

We all have our favorites and our favorite to hate, but in common we love boxing. If we can unite and demand that the sport gets it's fair representation, the athletes get rewarded for the effort, then everyhtign is good and more fights would get made.

People have said these are tough economic times....well that ain't stopping Lebron from getting his $$$, that ain't stopping the #1 pick in football from getting his $$$ without proving anything, they aint stopping A-Roid from getting his $$$.

We need to unite together and get our sport some damn representation. We want highlights on Sportscenter, we boxing shorts in MC sports, we want pacman on david letterman, we want a boxing live for chirst sakes!

Considering he made $50 million alone in his last two fights, I say why not? He atleast deserves 15 million, and that offer that was made by Arum/Golden Boy was an insult, he got 8 million for fighting Baldomir who wasn't known in terms of PPV...and that fight did what? 375k or something?

Lennox is a moron though. Floyd seems to have his witts, but a 20 million dollar guarantee is Mike Tyson money, and while Floyd is a draw he doesn't draw enough to get a 20 mill guarantee. 12-13 mil would be reasonable though. That way he would probably make near 20 million when it is all said and done.

i think they knew that fmj wouldn't budge for 8 million, but i think their intention to open up talks to see if floyd is ready to fight again worked...even fmj realizes he's entering the post prime part of his career...these are the legacy fights coming up and he doesn't want to lose too many steps...lol

realistically i think he can get 20 mill for manny pac and 15 mill for mosley as long as both stay hot

I admit, I didn't think pacman could beat oscar, but that oscar that pacman fought doesn't make it surprising. Oscar was not Oscar. If Pacman beats Hatton, then i'll give him his P4P thrown, but right now...we don't have one.
