if their is a problem with getting a guarnteed 15M, GBP and Top Rank waive your fee. Hbo cut your %. We as fans shouldn't be mad at the fighters getting some $$$ for a lifetime fight. We should be mad at the bloodsuckers who are pimping the sport!

We all have our favorites and our favorite to hate, but in common we love boxing. If we can unite and demand that the sport gets it's fair representation, the athletes get rewarded for the effort, then everyhtign is good and more fights would get made.

People have said these are tough economic times....well that ain't stopping Lebron from getting his $$$, that ain't stopping the #1 pick in football from getting his $$$ without proving anything, they aint stopping A-Roid from getting his $$$.

We need to unite together and get our sport some damn representation. We want highlights on Sportscenter, we boxing shorts in MC sports, we want pacman on david letterman, we want a boxing live for chirst sakes!
Well in order to accurately assess his drawing power, we'll have to see how he does against someone not Hatton or Oscar who are arguably the 2 most popular fighters in the world with Pac coming in 3rd. U think its a coincidence that his ppv#'s with Baldomir did 350k, then jumped to 2.4 million with Delahoya in his very next fight? Floyd on his own name is a decent draw, but in order to rake in big numbers, he needs a very popular opponent. Oscar did just shy of a mil fighting Mayorga!

The fights with Mosley and Pacquaio will easily make over $30 million dollars each as two big names will be involved, Mayweather deserves atleast $15 million dollars. Mosley and Pacquiao are not bigger names than Mayweather or De La Hoya, people need to realise that based on facts and evidence, not biased opinions.

I am still waiting to see how much does Hatton vs Pacquaio does.

Man, that's disgusting the amount of money Oscar rakes in. He only fights these high profile fighters and I sometimes wonder whether most people watching the fight tune in hoping to see him lose.

De la Hoya/Pacquiao did 1.25 million buys?! Really? Wow...if that's true...with the exposure that Pacquiao got bludgeoning DLH in that fashion in front of such a large audience...Pacquiao/Hatton will HAVE to do big numbers. The casual audience will see Hatton again, the only loss coming from Mayweather, and Pacquiao...someone who battered the one who gave Mayweather his closest fight. Not to mention that most hardcore boxing fans are calling Pacquiao/Hatton a MUST SEE fight. Many here are going to be ordering it...I know I will. This fight just screams action. If Pacquiao beats Hatton, Pacquiao will be deserving of a fight with Mayweather. And ultimately, us boxing fans will enjoy another mega-fight.

            Pacquiao's giving us the goods!

Not to discredit the Floyd/Oscar ppv"s, but back in the 90's and early 2000's when Oscar was the hottest draw in boxing, i can recall almost EVERYONE having hot boxes (illegal cable boxes), and rarely anyone paid for the ppv fights. Im sure that had a big effect on ppv sales. Nowaday's with the new cable technology, there is really no way round not paying for the fight unless u find a ****ty stream.

lets also not forget that Floyd/Oscar was the most heavily promoted/marketed fight in the history of the sport! It was badged as "The fight to bring back boxing" It was rediculously overhyped!!! Hence the record breaking ppv#'s.

Ermm...I will get back to you when the Hatton vs Pacquaio PPV results are here.

Hatton's first PPV in USA was against Mayweather...In UK he has fought a few times in PPV fights, including the Kostya Tszyu fight. I live in the UK so i know the PPV costs around 15-20 pounds compared to the $55 dollars in USA.
