I've seen plenty of respected reporters saying that Taylor won the second fight.

I know that Smoger doesn't stop anybody unless they lie completely still.

I thought that Pavlik won the second Taylor fight comfortably. But still, Abraham will likely take him out. Pavlik can be hit, and Abraham is the most dangerous puncher Pavlik ever faced.

Absolutely. The question to me is whether Pavlik can land through Abraham's tight guard. This fight is really intriguing... Make it happen.!!

Oh, he will land some all right, Abraham ain't the most mobile fighter out there, however he learned a lot about counter punching.

Oh yeah abos. AA takes too much time off in rounds to preserve energy to launch those devastating hooks. I think a smart Pavlik can outpoint him. No knock-out obviously.

AA is always dangerous with the abrahammer though.

Let's bet if the time comes abos.

Wonder if the promoters/sanctioning bodies, etc. even want a unified champ...I mean more champs = more fights they can call "championship fights" and sell to us fans as ppv worthy, right? Also more contenders and more career ladders to get to each champ. More different notable fighters for the writers to write about and us to argue about, right?

That's a very good point. You're right, If Pavlik fights smart, he can take a decision. But no way Pavlik stops Abraham..! Abraham has the heart of a lion and even though his jaw was broken, he has a granite chin. I might fancy a bet on Abraham. I like both fighters but would lean towards rooting for Pavlik.

I think the fight might play out somewhat like Adamek-Cunningham.
With Abraham being Adamek and Kelly being Steve.

But I don't like the fighters which according to Arum is in the picture for the next fight: Duddy, Gomez etc. And now Tito....

Maybe Pavlik just want the gold and not the legacy.
