you said it urself that pacquiao is a great offensive fighter and his power relies on accumulation of punches... you also said pacquiao has no defensive strategy and gets hit flush in every fight? man the second statement applies more to hatton than pacquiao, doncha think? and as a great offensive fighter like u r saying that he is, pacquiao will have a great chance of landing those blows up to the point of accumulation... does hatton have the "defensive tools" to avoid pacquiao's blows? if you criticize pacquiao's defense, you must do the same thing to hatton even more so IMHO...

You have a point and perhaps his great offense can make up for his defense in regards to fighting Hatton because Hatton isn't the best defensive fighter either but with that said I feel like Manny will have to mix it up with Hatton & Hatton will be game to mix it up with Manny because that is his thing. Hatton is aggressive and has an offensive arsenal not as fast as Manny but effective. Note that Hatton doesn't need too many punches to hurt an opponent, he can stun you with a jab or a right hook. Manny keeps ****ing till you fall & I can't see Hatton letting Manny over whelm him like that especially since Hatton is comfortable at 140 & has decent speed & good power. Manny would have to stay away from Hatton and box him like he did Oscar but that will not be the case fighting Hatton. Hatton brings the fight & cuts the ring Manny Pacquiao will have to brawl out with Hatton & I give Hatton the nod on power.

FINALLY somebody with some real input and not just "Oh Pacquiao destroys Hatton because he's the better boxer" Or "Pacquiao would beat Cotto" or "Pacquiao would beat Godzilla, King Kong and the Clover Field Monster" I think Manny Pacquiao is a very entertaining, tough, fast, aggressive fighter but he didn't even stay at 135 long enough to get really tested. I'm sure there are some guys there that would put Manny on his ass. On top of that both his fights with JMM are questionable (Not saying I think so) but damn! Manny had two times to put this much older guy he knocked down a total of 4 times out of there and still made it questionable wins?

Come on guys! I like Manny too but clearly everyone with an opinion opposite to "Manny is the greatest" is not wrong but just very observant and sees the big picture. Not saying Manny couldn't beat a lot of guys bigger and stronger than him but he hasn't and struggled with a game older one at 130 2x. I want to see more of him dominating before I crown this guy because realistically I feel 140 is going to eat him alive.

I agree he hasnt been tested at 135, but youre sure hes gonna be knock down at 135? based on what? being knockdown ten years ago. I dont think he is the greatest by the way

Every report I read by respected boxing writers had it very close. Some thought JMM won, more thought Pac had won, but to call it a robbery is just ******. When a fight is close it can't be a robbery, whichever way the decision goes.
