BTW...I appreciate all the feedback negative and positive from readers. I know this sort of analysis isn't everyone's cup of tea but it's a different way of looking at things and over soon enough for those who don't like it.Comment

These lists are hard but you have all of the main guys up there. Pryor was a beast and one of the few fighters I would love to see fight ANYONE in history to see the results. He had a chin, speed, power, mental strength, and intelligence.
The Hawk holds a shot at beating anyone in the history of the 140 pound division.Comment

I don't mind the list. I would have had Pryor at #1 personally but I can't really argue with the top few.
Also, to the ppl who think it is ridiculous that Kessler was rated at #2 at 168 just remember the division is very young and, although Kessler's resume may not be up to scratch, his achievements in the division surpass pretty much all others.Comment

I actually think this is the best list so far. Im not incredibly surprised that Cervantes is number 1...apart from being an excellent fighter on his own, he beat a huge amount of other good fighters. much like how Norris should probebly be rated #1 at Light Middleweight, despite the fact that he would probebly have lost to a few others on the list.
#1 is still kind of a stretch, but theres no clean cut best at 140 either for that matter.
De La Hoya should probebly be a little bit lower...he only had like 2 fights at 140...but those wins were pretty good. I think he makes the top 20.
Im not too big on Hatton so high either, but Im glad guys like Juan Martin Coggi and Barney Ross got rated fairly high.
I think Tyszu should have been above Locche. always liked Locche, but he didnt have a giant amount of wins at the world class level. and Ive read that his 'draw' with Carlos Ortiz was very controversial. Locche was a fantastic defensive fighter, but he had his limits.Comment
