Pavliks workrate is nowhere in the same galaxy as Joe's. I mean this should be really obvious.

A different look? I've heard this before. Please explain what exactly this different look was other than pressured work rate. I'd really like this explained since quite a few Joe fans have said this.

Pavlik and Joe are not the same style of fighter NOR do they have anywhere near the same workrate.

I won't even get into how Joe didn't land clean for most of that fight.

That said, I have ALREADY praised Joe for that fight. Despite Hopkins age and stamina, he should be commended. Why? Mental toughness. He got knocked on his ass in the beginning and was in trouble. He showed grit and heart and stayed in there and did what he had to do to get the win. Props to that. But then, if most of these clowns weren't trolling, they'd know I've already given him props for that.

He stopped holding his feet and developed a better rhythm, he was more in and out, it was subtle but if you go back and watch you will notice. He started throwing a jab and out, or jab jab and out, or jab left hand and out. This made hopkins hesitant to throw the counter right so much.

I mean as for the Pavlik comment sure, workrate isn't it. OBVIOUSLY Joe is skilled or Bernard would just Pavlik him. But really he wasn't working on the outside as much as some fans would have you believe.

Watch the fight again. I see in the mid rounds a few times where he would jab on the outside then step away and double up with his feet. But for the most part he was pressure attacking. Did you really not see that? Do you really think Joe fought on the outside for most of that fight.

What does "in and out mean". What rounds and at what time specifically do you see this?
