i agree if its berto since hbo loves putting him on their air. if its clottey i can see it happening on top rank ppv since there both top rank fighters. cotto should demand it be on top rank ppv, that would be one less piece of the pie they would have to share with hbo.

Exposure is more valuable. Cotto would also make less money because the entire production would be coming out of Arum's pocket. First option is nationally televised, that's the best option out there for both Cotto and Top Rank. Top Rank PPV's are last resorts.

A Top Rank PPV isn't going to do well, so Cotto isn't going to get a share worth mentioning from the buys. If he fights and does well on HBO he gets paid and a potential PPV with Pac or Mosley will do better and than he'll get really paid.

Berto would be the fight that generates more buzz and he will unify in the process. Cintron should not even be mentioned he looked like **** in his last fight and his ***** ass shouldn't get this oportunity. Clottey would be the most competitive of the three but I don't think it would garner as much attention as Berto vs Cotto.

well.. u know what.. the only way i see..cotto getting pacman.. is if he renovate his contract with top rank, i think that arum will put that hurdle to him...

He still lost, he still hasnt been active(not all his fault) and he's boring. Berto brings excitement to the fight, youth, and an undefeated record. It looks better on paper and will be a much more exciting fight.

sure clottey lost, but berto doesnt go 12 rounds with margo.

clottey's boring because he not vulnerable like berto.

berto brings "excitement" because he's vulnerable.

Youth means berto is green.

An undefeated record doesnt mean much seeing as how cotto himself is no longer undefeated.

on paper clottey/cotto looks better... clottey has a strap and has much more experience than berto.

thats sounds good to me. i was thinking since hbo is getting tight with their budget maybe they wouldnt want to put on cotto vs clottey, but they will definitley put cotto vs berto on wcb. lets see what happens it should be interesting
