clottey being an arum fighter, and cotto being

and arum gaining two paychecks from this matchup,
plus the fact clottey has more chance than the others to win.
i don't see this one coming to fruitation.
unless arum bends backwards and dangles more carrots in cottos face.

see cintron being the most likely canidate for the money
      and because he's beatable.
this is the REALEST and BEST post........listen to this dude!

Cintron was ALREADY chosen before the Martinez fight, thats why he was a given a gift decision so Cotto wouldn't be fighting someone coming off a lost.......I say its 70% Cintron and 30% Berto.....I think Clottey will wound up fighting Mosley or Collazo.

According to Cotto's promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank, three options will be presented to Cotto, which include unbeaten WBC welterweight champion Andre Berto, IBF champion Joshua Clottey and former champion Kermit Cintron. The final decision will be up to Cotto. [details]
The best fight for Cotto is Mosley/Cotto 2. Followed by Clottey. I say that because for one, Mosley gave Cotto the toughest fight of his life, prior to the uncanny beatdown by Margarito. To me it's blatent self-preservation not to mention Mosley's name, considering he's a belt holder, and Cotto's win wasn't a handsdown, all out aszwhoopin. It was a situation where someone had to win that fight, and Cotto did a little better work. I can SO see that fight going the exact opposite way, and I believe so can Cotto's camp. Which is why they've only named fighters that look good for Cotto on paper. Guys he can breakdown. Clottey being a big 'if', but if I'm Cotto, and I'm in comeback mode, the last thing I want to do is get back in with Mosley, who almost beat me last year, who just finished knocking out the guy who knocked ME out. No sir. Give me Clottey. Give me CINTRON (??). Give me liberty or give me death. But whatever you do, keep that fool Shane Mosley away from me. At least for right now.

If the money was in ticket sales you go for Cintron to promote the whole event for Puerto Rican Day in NY. If you go with PPV sales go with Berto even though I doubt Dibella promotions would agree with this match-up and put there money machine in with Cotto at this time. Now if you want the Combo of ticket sales and PPV sales you gotta go with Clottey who trains in the Bronx and has a substantial following amongst hardcore fans plus holds a title and stood 12 rounds with Margarito. Meanwhile, Mosley should handle Berto in my opinion this summer and the Weleterweight king should be crowned this winter. Unless, PAC or Mayweather step into the picture.

So your basically saying that Cotto is ducking guys because there is a possibility he might lose? Cotto needs to fight the best right now & Kermit Cintron is not in that category and Berto is another confident win for him & I'm sure that is not debatable among most boxing fans. Clottey makes the most sense then Berto. People keep making excuses that Cotto should get the most $ but how much more could he possibly get fighting Cintron then he could with Clottey? Cintron has become a laughing stock & disrespected figure in boxing how can he help Cotto advance at 147?

Clottey has a title and is avoided, for Cotto to take that fight when NO one else will then that says a lot about him as a person and fighter. That means a lot more to me and others then a semi mega fight with one of the biggest cry babies in the sport to date Kermit Cintron. If Margarito wouldn't have been caught cheating then I say Hell Yeah that would help Cotto in June or if Mosley wanted to fight in NY then Hell Yeah, Go for it Cotto!! But Cintron over Clottey? And Berto over Clottey? To me Arum/Cotto will be taking the easy way out if they don't choose Clottey especially if Cotto said he can beat Clottey.
