You cant expect me to believe this when he ducked out of fighting Johnson so many times.
    Injury isn't ducking.

So Calzaghe pulls out through injury and its ducking.

But Hopkins doubles his purse demands overnight and you condone it.

      Interesting.

If an injury isn't ducking (happened twice) neither is negotiating for more money.

Yup. If cats want to stop hearing about Calzaghe pulling out against Johnson twice they have to stop spouting the Hopkins ducked him nonsense.

Why do people continue to bring up the Hopkins vs. Calzaghe stuff..... They fought in the end... Both are/were very good "old boxers" and we still got to see two elite, top 5 pound-for-pound, Hall Of Famers going at it

And if you have any boxing knowledge what so ever, you know that Hopkins has fallen out with a lot of people in the boxing industry due to him wanting more money for fights.

How much did he offer Hopkins? $5Million? lol

He made twice as much fighting Trinidad.

Questions for Calzaghe fans: If someone like Roy Jones had a similar resume to Calzaghe in terms of fighters faced, what would you think of them? If Roy Jones instead of going up to heavyweight and fighting tough fights with Tarver and Johnson, instead chose to stay at one weight class and rack up defenses, would you be asking the same questions about Roy Jones that people ask about Calzaghe? All Brits claim that the hate for Calzaghe has everything to do with race/nationality. Well ask yourself this, why did America embrace guys like Lennox Lewis, Ricky Hatton, and the Prince?

Agreed, i've never said Hopkins ducked Calzaghe.

Boxing politics is part of the sport if you don't except that you might as well stop watching.
