williams is open as hell, he would get punished badly by hopkins.
He got tired against Calzaghe because Calzaghe uses his legs and throws 1000 punches a fight.

    Sound familiar?

Hopkins gets outworked all night at FORTY FIVE years old.

Paul Williams is ANYTHING but. He throws punches from every single angle, he has 12 round stamina, he throws 1000 punches a fight. He moves his head and he uses his legs.

It's a stylisitic nightmare for Hopkins. And I'm not even saying Hopkins wouldnt land his shots, because he would. But there wouldn't be enough of them to overcome the work Williams would be putting in.
where was the 1000 punches against quintana, where was calzaghe's 1000 punches vs hopkins?

its easy to say he's capable of throwing that many but do you actually believe he could against hopkins? stamina wont help him against hopkins if he cant find openings for his shots without being smashed in the face in return.

calzaghe is a hof 168 lber, williams is a big 147lber who has lost to a 'c' class fighter. you cant compare the two, night and day.

I already said that Quintanas southpaw stance is what threw Williams off more than anything.

And Bernard did lower Calzaghes workrate but that doesnt mean he wasnt throwing a ton of punches and simply outworking Bernard.

He kept the pressure on Bernard and Bernard got tired.

Pavlik didn't do ANYTHING to force the fight with Hopkins, he was a sitting duck for 12 rounds... that was a routine gym workout.

And Pavlik is a flat footed one dimensional fighter who got taken advantage of.

              You can't compare the two.

And Paul Williams isn't a welterweight at this point... no way no how.

If he ever makes welterweight again, he will have some serious dehydration to do.
