I'll also assume you think fighters are incapable of improving.

They just stay the same their entire career.

So that Paul Williams that lost to Quintana is the same exact fighter who will be fighting next weekend... is that right?

how has he? that fight was last year. since that fight he's knocked out 2 guys within a timespan of 3 minutes, beat a bum (phillips) then outworked a fighter who hasn't fought in 2 years and is 38.

Winky was in damn good shape for that fight, and regardless of his inactivity Winkys is still slick himself, moreso than Quintana, and couldn't do literally ANYTHING against Williams. He moves his head WAY more for starters, and turns his punches over more, he sits down on his punches more now rather than just flicking them out there.. and that is the biggest difference. Instead of 1000 flicks, he is putting heat on his punches.

wasnt you the one who met dan birmingham? i seem to remember him telling you winky should retire and is not the same fighter anymore and is out at clubs now. winkys legs are gone, ofcourse williams is gonna win. just throw a **** load of slaps against high guard and pile up points, winky didn't use footwork like quintana because he's lost it.

how can you seriously say williams has improved? he beat two guys in 3 mins max and then proceeded to beat a 40 and a 38 year old in his next two fights.

Because I pay attention to his style and what he does in the ring, and I just explained.. he moves his head a lot more, and turns over on his punches more. His biggest problem is he didnt bring a lot of power with his punches.. and now he does... he shoots through his opponent more instead of just at his opponent.

Big deal he lost one FIGHT... lost a 8-4 decision and knocked him out in the first round of the rematch.

Theres nothing to say he is "just hype" either... losing ONE fight? and avenging the loss?

                    Nah.

                      Nah.

losing 1 fight to a 'c' class fighter at 147 is enough to say its hype for people to be saying he can beat a hof fighter at 168 lbs.
