If Miguel fights Mosley...Mosley's is old...If Miguel takes a tune up he's coddled...If Miguel Doesnt call out any fighters he's a House Man...If he does call out fighters... He fears those he forgot to mention...if he gets body art he's lost his mind...If Miguel Celebrates a knock down in the 4th..he's disrespectfull...This will continue regardless of what happens in Miguel Cotto's carreer and it has nothing to do with FACTS or Common Sence...It's just flame...i hope that some posters with the latter can see that.

It's obvious that Cotto...wants Unification bouts...Did Miguel Cotto Call out Cintron yesterday ...nu ugh... It's Greedy Arum that wants Cintron for the PR day parade to make guap...I think to say Miguel Cotto has been at times a coddled fighter by Top Rank is correct...but he's also been in there with his share of top fighters...Regardless of weather he won or lost...The fight with Jennings was a confidence builder and the way he celebrated with his uncle at the end of the 4th proves that he needed a confidence builder...Miguel will get back to fighting top compition very soon...I'd say he wants Clottey in June...Win or lose Miguel isn't scared to fight any to WW and i think everybody on this forum knows it...

Miguel won a 12 UD against Mosley which some dispute but most agree with...When he beat Sugar...he got absolutley no credit for doing so...Shane was over the hill...A shell of his former self...He faught the wrong fight...It was embarrasing for Miguel to even go 12 rounds with a 35 year old fighter...ect ect....What i'm trying to say is that for people with agenda against the man he will never accomplish anything...

1. Cotto/Cintron both got handed their asses to them by a OVERRATED CHEATER.

2. Cotto fought TWO gift wins at 147.

3. Clottey/Williams/Mosley didn't get their asses beat like Cotto/Cintron did.

4. That's THREE fighters at 147 that gave Margarito fits. Cotto got DESTROYED & he is supposed to be the best?

5. Hasn't been active since last July which is 1/2 a year!! & he comes back & fights a tune up?

Those are facts not hate. Hate would be me dissing him but in my Posts I did say he was a good fighter but very babied and excused.

1. You admit Margo is a cheater so he won with a handicap and that makes Cotto a bad fighter because he lost to a cheater? Elaborate please.

2. Diego Corrales, Felix Flores, Jose Luis Cruz weren't "gift" fights. Those are fights that Clottey took after his biggest career fight against Margarito. Not exactly moving to fight quality either. That make Clottey bad?

3. Clottey got injured during that fight if you recall and played run away for practically 8 rounds. Not discrediting him on that but you cant really count that. Paul finished horrible on that fight if you recall and was rocked several times in the later rounds pulled a W but was a close fight.

4. If I recall correctly Cotto gave Margarito plenty of fight. Landed strong punches all fight long and a KO loss doesn't make him any less of a contender than the others. There is no defined best at the time but most people are drawn between Mosely and Cotto and if memory serves correct Cotto is up 1-0.

5. As I stated earlier a tune up fight is nothing new to boxers after a lay off, gotta see if ring rust will be a factor. Even a legend at this moment, Winky Wright, has said he's curious to see how the layoff will affect him. Pacman has had 2 7 month layoffs in his career and fought tune up after both of them, Fashan Battery 44-7(35 years old) and Hector Velazquez 42-10. Nothing wrong or odd about taking a tune up. What you should be concerned about is that fact that he wants to take a top challenger on June and wants another top challenger towards the end of the year, possibly Pacman.

Hey man I understand your point. In my opinion I think that Tats look ****** but hey who cares. I want to see if Miguel is really back and fight Clottey in his next fight. Forget all the politics & tricks! Don't think it will be Mosley anyway because Mosley said he won't fight Miguel in NY only on the West Coast. Joshua Clottey makes the most sense because he has a title at 147. People are forgetting that Andre Berto wants some. That can be another easy fight for Cotto and he can walk away with another title.

I think in a lot of ways me and you want the same thing...Great boxing matches at an Elite level...I think in Miguel wants the same (maybe because i'm a fan) I think some people choose to see what they want to see...

See to some the Torres fight was Cotto being exposed...but to me it was his ultimate Victory...He rose to the challenge got smacked around and still was at the end victorious...what more can you ask for from your Favorite boxer?

I also think that Clottey is next...I have it being a close fight with Miguel getting off early and pounding his jab through the middle of that Peek-a-boo then Clottey taking the middle rounds by landing that straight right hand that is Cotto's kryptonight....but then in the Championship rounds Clottey goes into no punch Clottey mode and Miguel out points him in a UD...IMO

I don't agree. Antonio Margarito came back from a long layoff and fought Sugar Shane Mosley who's by far not an easy challenge. Explain Miguel Cotto fighting Alfonso Gomez before fighting Antonio Margarito? I'm not buying it fam but I do respect how you came across in your post. I think Cotto is good but not great and that's my point. Clearly he has showed BIG holes in his fight game when Antonio Margarito pressured him & he couldn't adapt once his power became not a factor in the ring. Jennings was ranked for a mandatory for Cotto? Did he even fight out here before? Clottey has a title at 147. Cotto team was contemplating Kermit Cintron but Arum cooked up Jennings. Cotto is entertaining but I am not sold on him being this wrecking ball like many claim. I saw him fold in that Margarito fight. With all of his skill he should have put up a better fight (With Exception to the Plaster)

Believe it or not Jennings was actually ranked a WBO title contender. It was announced on their website for a while. Like I said the alphabet titles are a joke as they often have nobodies ranked in their top 10.
