yeah just the this dudes other post he was saying how he respects cotto and **** now he blasts him Cotto is an awesome fighter who by no way necessary had it easy he fought some tough opponents and beat a legend in mosley. The only way to find that out is for all the belt holders to fight and see which one is holding all the titles. 147 needs a unified champ and that's my point. According
to Top 10 list it would be Mosley but I've been screaming for a Mosley/Cotto 2 clash for the longest. Now if you ask me my favorite Welter it wouldn't be Miguel Cotto.

I'm tired of all this Cotto talk like dude is the illest boxer on the planet. Miguel Cotto got beat down by Antonio Margarito the same way Cintron did. I don't get what makes Cotto so spectacular of a boxer? Clottey didn't get beat down by Margarito like that, Williams or Shane. Cotto is a good fighter but all you need to do is pressure him and don't back down from his power and aggression and you can KO him. He has to be the most touchable fighter in the ring. Miguel Cotto is not that great like everyone is making him out to be and that's why I can never cosign him because I know he is easy to beat against a game opponent. I think Miguel Cotto has the most Groupies of any other boxer out active right now. People are Co signing him coming back off of a long layoff to fight a scrub? Talking about he needs to take it easy coming back? Cotto hasn't been active since last July? That's plenty of time to get in your rhythm and fight a real fight. I try to keep my mouth shut and not bash a boxer but some of the people threads I read on here is crazy. Cotto is the most babied and excused fighter EVER. Cotto/Cintron got a foot in their ass by bum ass AntFonio MargarCheato and Cotto is supposed to be the best & people have to wait to fight him? Alfonso Gomez? Michael Jennings?? Come on man!! That's why Margarito whupped him out because Cotto was sleeping on that Ass whipping.

LOL Have to disagree with you on several points here. The first is that long layoffs are actually detremental to boxers. All boxers will tell you that, so picking a strong challenger off the bat is almost never done by boxers coming of a long layoff. One fact that I also want to make clear is that the WBO has Jennings ranked for a title bout so if Cotto wanted to comeback for a title he had little choice in the matter, as it could have been Jennings vs. another nobody for the title and ended up giving Jennings a fight later in time against a recognized fighter anyway. That's just the way the alphabet titles work. As far as Cotto goes his vulnerability in the ring is actually one of the reasons many people like him as a boxer. He's not perfect but he always comes to win and to entertain and gives the fans a good show. Pacman, Barrera, and most of the guys in the P4P rankings now have been touchable....does that mean that they aren't good either. The fact is that Cotto is a geat boxer with excepional skill and gives fans what they want which is KOs.

I agree That Cotto would most likely beat Berto & has a chance against Clottey if Clottey doesn't bring the fight to Cotto. In my opinion the Tattoo's do look ******. Cotto is in a good position to be the best beating Gomez then Getting beat by Margarito then coming back to beat Jennings then possibly avoided Mosley (a Champ at 147) & Joshua Clottey (A champ at 147) & fighting Kermit Cintron who just got beat Twice in the same fight? If I was Cotto I wouldn't even give Cintron a shot. If Cotto is bad ass like you make him out to be then he would tell Arum he wants Clottey if Mosley is too much of a risk for him. i think Clottey is a very good talented fighter but doesnt bring to the table eanough to beat a fighter like Cotto hes not busy enuff and keeps his hands too high i dont blast clottey i just know a better fighter when i see one Clotteys biggest wins are against a softened judah, and CORRALES AT 147 ive read alot of your comments in the past and youv made good ones but your hating Cotto, (one of the fighters who are good for the sport and is always fun to watch) with no really good reason.
