Boxing Video: Clottey - "Cotto Fought a Nobody"

I'm tired of all this Cotto talk like dude is the illest boxer on the planet. Miguel Cotto got beat down by Antonio Margarito the same way Cintron did. I don't get what makes Cotto so spectacular of a boxer? Clottey didn't get beat down by Margarito like that, Williams or Shane. Cotto is a good fighter but all you need to do is pressure him and don't back down from his power and aggression and you can KO him. He has to be the most touchable fighter in the ring. Miguel Cotto is not that great like everyone is making him out to be and that's why I can never cosign him because I know he is easy to beat against a game opponent. He has some skill and power but that's about it. Example: Cotto
got beat down & now comes back with ****** tattoo's fighting a tune up & people praise him? & then get mad at Clottey when he speaks the truth about him & ***** ass Cintron?

I think Miguel Cotto has the most Groupies of any other boxer out active right now. People are Co signing him coming back off of a long layoff to fight a scrub? Talking about he needs to take it easy coming back? Cotto hasn't been active since last July? That's plenty of time to get in your rhythm and fight a real fight. I try to keep my mouth shut and not bash a boxer but some of the people threads I read on here is crazy. Cotto is the most babied and excused fighter EVER. Cotto/Cintron got a foot in their ass by bum ass AntFonio MargarCheato and Cotto is supposed to be the best & people have to wait to fight him? Alfonso Gomez? Michael Jennings?? Come on man!! That's why Margarito whupped him out because Cotto was sleeping on that Ass whipping.

So your saying Joshua Clottey doesn't deserve a PPV head line with Miguel Cotto but Michael Jennings did? Get real. Joshua Clottey is a title holder at 147 & he did give Antonio Margarito more fits and a closer fight then Miguel Cotto did. We all know that Zab Judah quit because he was getting beat down and faked a accidental head butt. Clottey deserves a shot at Cotto and everyone else at 147 off the strength that he is a champ in that division and is MUCH BETTER & MORE of a test than Michael Jennings. Clottey is right Miguel did fight a NOBODY! A str8t up gift win.

I am most definetly not saying that. Cotto/Jennings should never have been on PPV. That was just Arum milking out money on a Pavlik and Cotto comeback fight. Mosely is much more warranted to fight Cotto and I would much rather prefer to see that. As far as Clottey giving Margarito a closer fight not really he lost last eight, and I know that he injured his hand but we'll now never know how he would have responded when Margo picked up pace in the second half as he always does. I am NOT against a Cotto/Clottey fight nor am I saying that Clottey doesn't have the goods, but that he hasn't exactly dazzled like other champions on his way to earning a PPV headliner.

1. Cotto/Cintron both got handed their asses to them by a OVERRATED CHEATER.

2. Cotto fought TWO gift wins at 147.

3. Clottey/Williams/Mosley didn't get their asses beat like Cotto/Cintron did.

4. That's THREE fighters at 147 that gave Margarito fits. Cotto got DESTROYED & he is supposed to be the best?

5. Hasn't been active since last July which is 1/2 a year!! & he comes back & fights a tune up?
