cotto vs. clottey would be an awesome display of skill and determination... I can see cotto working clottey's shell then clottey responding back with quick sharp and short punches...damn this NEEDS to happen sometime..

Okay Clottey said he wants to fight... And Cotto said he want to fight as well last night... Lets see if Arum makes it happen... No one wants to see Cotto/Cintron you only need one Puerto Rican for the hype of the eve of the PR Day Parade...

Explain Miguel Cotto fighting Alfonso Gomez before fighting Antonio Margarito? I'm not buying it fam but I do respect how you came across in your post. I think Cotto is good but not great and that's my point. Clearly he has showed BIG holes in his fight game when Antonio Margarito pressured him & he couldn't adapt once his power became not a factor in the ring. Jennings was ranked for a mandatory for Cotto? Did he even fight out here before? Clottey has a title at 147. Cotto team was contemplating Kermit Cintron but Arum cooked up Jennings. Cotto is entertaining but I am not sold on him being this wrecking ball like many claim. I saw him fold in that Margarito fight. With all of his skill he should have put up a better fight (With Exception to the Plaster)

If I remember correctly nobody but 2 or 3 people where giving Mosley a chance of coming out alive against Margs...and it was basicly being seen as a tuneup for the rematch against Cotto...now that Mosley laid that ass trashing on him it's easy to say it wasn't a gimmie fight for Margarito to take....but hind sight is 20/20.

My final note on this subject it this:
Doesn't matter who Cotto beat to get the title it was vacant and his to earn via a fight against an obviously overmatched opponent. What is important is the steps he takes now being a champ. He's called out the champs and top ranked fighters. Ultimately it's up to Cotto now to prove he's a true champ and seek unification on his way to the top, and if Cotto is the fighter I and all his fans believe he is then he will do it, or at least put up one hell of a showing trying to. Cotto/Clottey in June!! Make it happen Arum.
