I think there's some truth to what you said about Castillo, but I just don't see this theory that DLH gave Mayweather a tough fight. I know that's a popular for people to say, but DLH won maybe 2 or 3 rounds in that fight.

That said, getting to your point. It's altogether possible that there'll just be someone who has the right combination of talents that Mayweather gets frustrated by to pull out a victory over Floyd as opposed to a better boxer just outclassing Floyd. I could see that, especially as Mayweather gets older and less active. That's a potential danger in any comeback fight he might take.

You have not responded to me yet~. Boxing is 80 to 90% mental, so to me you need to beat Floyd mentally or beating him physically (atleast while his mind and body can work in perfect harmony) is basically a pipe dream.

The brain is what truly spereates the best from the very good in boxing. So I completely disagree with what you say because whoever would beat him would have a very special boxing brain.

              Good post.

I think i had Mayweather winning by about 2 rounds. You cannot say DLH did not pose questions for him in that fight though, can you? he adapted yes, but how much of that was down to DLH's notorious stamina issue's and how much of that was down to Floyd?

Take the first 5 rounds of Oscar's fights with Whitaker,Trinidad he arguably wins the first 5 rounds of both fights, but fades in both. Take the first 5 rounds of DLH vs Floyd and DLH took more rounds imo, but the same scenario played out again, he got tired.

I agree with much of the first part.

Not necessarily, because some people do the right things instinctively because they have natural ability. Some guys can learn Boxing from the age of 10 and they may never develop into a good fighters, where as someone like Nate Campbell,Toney can start late and pick the game up straight away.

That fight wasn't nearly as close as people try to make it out to be. 8-4 is the closest anyone could justifiably have it.
