In order to hit Cotto he will have to engage, and when he does hell get his ass timed by Cottos jab and Body punches!!!!!

Cotto took Moselys and Margarito(With Plaster) Shots very well!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shane hits harder than Mayweather, never said otherwise. Mayweather would just land more.

Unless you fight him like Chavez or Hatton (something Cotto doesn't do) or give him the kind of problems (lefty, faster) than Judah gave him, Mayweather doesnt have to engage to hit you. He has advantages in reach and speed to potshot and move.

How good is Cotto at cutting off the ring? How will he feel eating those right hands when he gets where he wants? Will he stick to his plan?
Will he be able to be enough in control of the fight to stay at midrange? He certainly doesnt want to be outside, and he is open for uppercuts on the inside.

It seems that you have only seen Cotto since the Judah fight!!!!!!!!!!
Margarito and Mosley are the only elite fighters against which he showed great timing. It looked nowhere near as good in the Judah (and even Malignaggi fight).

I watched Cotto since the Pinto fight. But I never saw the Bailey fight.

Tough dude as far as i'm concerned.

And this is kinda random, but he does have one of the more intimidating staredowns in recent memory. He always looks like he wants to hurt somebody.
Haha, very true... he seems like a nice and humble kind of guy though.

Thats the only thing I can say, I will be worry about. Like one guy said in this thread, FLoyd is like B-Hop, in the sense that they dont care about pleasing the fans, if they have to make it a boring fight to take you out of your game plan they will. They can frustrate anybody!!!!!!!!

Who ever beats Mayweather will not beat him by a wide margin or win the rounds big, that is why i say it will take a patient fighter who can stick to his game plan, rather than some punching machine who is going to pressure him for 12.

Mayweather is open to double lead right hands when he is pressed against the ropes, but you must ark it to account for the fact he is going to roll with the shot. Castillo seemed to do this pretty well during both fights. The consistent punch Castillo landed was the arking lead right.
