Yeah I would take 10$ over 20$ for respect too.

10mln over 20mln? you got to be kidding me.

Olympic Medallist. Multidivision champ, who was actually the one the big names did not want to fight until 5 years ago? I think he has a few ideas about how it feels to be respected.

You have to be a lightning fast volume puncher with KO power.

      That fighter isnt born yet.

To beat Floyd to me you have to be a better all around fighter. He really can fight going foward and going backwards very well. So if a fighter is only good at one, it is easy for Floyd to choose the other and look good. So to me to beat Floyd you have to force him out of what his desire to against a cetain opponent. Like Hatton was good enough to force Floyd to actually fight a close in fight, but he did not have the abilities to win the inside fight.

Floyd lands when he wants to land while his opponents never seem to get off, just watch most of his fights.

Whenever an opponet had early success against Floyd, he adapted. Say what you will about Floyd outside the ring, but inside the ring he is genious but if he can be out thought or out adapted he can lose, but that brings me back to my orignal point.

To beat Floyd you have to be better then him, atleast when he was actively fighting, if he came back who knows (age is an unwinnable war for all fighters). It is tough to say anyone for certain would beat him, all great great fighters have a chance though.

I also think if an oppoent goes in with the thought off whipping Floyd's ass they have most likely already lost.

To me Floyd's best asset in the ring is his boxing brain. To me there is no real way to counter that unless you are his equal or better in that category.

Over time the body errodes to the point where it can no longer do what the mind asks, but Floyd never got to that point as he reitred early.

I posted this in another thread, but it simplifies what I think. The brain is the most importent aspect in boxing, and I rate Floyd's boxing brain very highly, so unless you can negate this advantage (which I add is almost impossible unless you are smarter or atleast as smart) the road to victory is a very treacherous one.

Cotto is to mentally weak to beat Mayweather. A large part of what Mayweather does is mental. As someone else mentioned he is never out of a focused stand point in between those ropes. That said, I would stand in the corner and call him names till he came to fight me. I would a appeal to his pride. I would talk a lot of trash on Mayweather's fighting style in interviews leading up to the fight.

As he approaches the fighter should throw a ton of punches who cares whether you land the first few, they should be decoys as he goes into defensive shell you should have adjusted and move up and down body and head. I would literally go after his pride in an attempt to make it a actual fight and talk crap. When it comes to athletic ability, speed, and reactions, no one outside of Judah matches him. So get him out of that game plan, make him actually fight, if you try and chess match a fighter like Mayweather, he will win with his natural athletic ability and intelligence.

Tszyu would have had a great shot at him due to his patience, intelligence, timing, power, reactions, and adaptability. Mayweather had a ton of respect for him and said so in a press conference. I think Mosley would have a damn good shot at beating him. His speed, timing, reactions, combinations, power, experience, intelligence, and athletic ability would give Mosley a shot.

Margarito's style would be very difficult for Mayweather. Though Margarito would look terrible missing wildly he would be busy enough to keep Mayweather on the defensive. Mayweather's power would not bother Margarito, and Mayweather's strength and size would be huge as that is just how Margarito fights. Mayweather would probably throw around 25 punches around and landing probably as much as 18 punches, but Margarito's 90 punches with 24 lands would still look more impressive for judges. Margarito's mental strength(at least against Cotto) would have gave him a shot at him.

Williams would have a great shot because of SIZE and OUTPUT. He would have to learn to use his height far better though. Williams has decent speed and solid power. Would definitely due some damage to Mayweather in the three round adjustment period that Mayweather often has.

                    *Mental Strength
                    *Power
                    *Reaction
                    *Intelligence
                    *Experience
                    *Solid speed
                    *Combinations-Complete arsenal of punches
                    *Jab
                    *Output(Stamina)
                    *Fearless
                    *Chin
                    *Good body attack

IMHO Mosley and Margarito stand a better chance then Cotto. Cotto isn't mentally strong enough. His power and speed are very impressive, reactions and style great against Mayweather. I just think his mental strength is to low to match Mayweather. Quartey IMO would have beat down Mayweather. I still think he beat up prime DLH. Quartey also softened up Vargas quite a bit for Trinidad, which a lot of people forget about. That was a war. Quartey was a very special fighter that never got his due, really I think(IMO) his only loss was a prime Vargas(pre-Trinidad).

Fighters can beat Mayweather but they will have to fight the perfect fight and be a great all around fighter with power and intelligence.

                    Just my 2 cents.

i think mosley and pacquaio would land on him. id give mosley a chance of winning.. but floyd is often underestimated when his competition is stiff.. we've seen it time and time again. i dont think we really know how good floyd is.. genaro hernandez seemed to be close in boxing intelligence but floyd still smoked him. someone care to break that fight down for me? you have all these great fighters, its amazing to see one shred another. they could tear 100 regular people up 1 after the other
