im aware that floyd has been hurt, cut and all of the above except for put on his knee, back etc........ however, getting hit with a jab does not compare to hitting his opponent with everything at will....... the things that u all bring up may be true, the hard part is finding someone that can actually do these things, while successfully defending mayweathers punches

True, it is easier said than done. But my original point was that however good Mayweather is, there is/was somebody out there who would have taken advantage of one/some of his flaws to beat him.

i doubt that there is someone in this generation who could have done these things...... no one fighting today has the talent and skill to pull this off...... u know this

With mayweather, the hardest part about beating him is keeping you're composure and patience. I really think my strategy i said earlier is the way to go, but the problem with it is, it takes someone who is mentally strong and patient. And guys like that are hard to find. Oscar had it going and was winning, but then got impatient and Mayweather was able to potshot him when he stopped jabbing and picked up the majority of the later rounds. People forget hatton was doing pretty well the first 5 rounds, but lost his composure with the point deduction. Mayweather is physically gifted, but he's not the most physically gifted guy i've seen, but what makes him a great boxer is how mentally focused he is in the ring.

If you're going to beat Mayweather, the most important thing is to be patient, and stay mentally tough. Cuz no matter how good you're gameplan is, you lose you're composure just once, he'll make you pay.

Cotto is the best body puncher right now, his jab is top 5 right now, and he can slip punches very well. You dont have to be whitaker to make Floyd look bad, I think Castillo proved it already!!!!!!!!!

Cotto's jab is a power shot, not a jab... if you know what i mean. He doesnt use it as a jab, he uses it as a power shot. That and the reach disadvantage don't make it particularly useful for the purpose that we have in mind here.

Castillo proved that to get close to beating Mayweather, you need to fight him when he is injured.

Are they showing Pavlik-Rubio as well on tv.

I think Vanda-Duddy will be 'fun' nut nothing to die for.

if everyone has a weakness and no one is perfect and everyone can be beaten then why are calzaghe and mayweather both undefeated? the only fight floyd has had that was anything close to a loss is the 1st castillo fight and how long ago was that fight since that fight no one has come close to beatin floyd not even castillo in the rematch

Both of those guy have arguably been given GIFT decisions at points in their careers..
