Mayweather Moves to his opponents left almost everytime he is on the ropes.. As he rolls he leaves his Body totally exposed for a left hook.. And yet no one ever seems to take advantage of that shot.. IT's right there!!!
The Way to Beat Mayweather?

how is that nuthugging? Mayweather has beaten every style in boxing aside from taking on somehow with an enormous weight advantage. if there is a way to beat Mayweather, it is weight. come in at 175 while Mayweather is at 150 and I think you can winComment

I agree completely. Mayweather is a lot more comfortable moving backwards then he is moving forward.
My way to beat him is to keep the fight in the center of the ring, with a good jab and make him come to you. The man does not like to throw the first punch, he lives off countering and tiring his opponent out.Comment

Its nuthugging because you don't think Mayweather has any weaknesses and can only be beaten when an opponent has an unfair advantageComment

That is what I was looking for! Good observationComment

Okay, first off: this is not a hate thread!I rewatched the Oscar fight last night and the Judah fight today and it got me thinking about where Mayweather is vulnerable, and what would be the best gameplan to beat him. I've come up with the following so far:
#1 Vulnerable to a good jabber. He keeps his left hand low, across his body leaving himself open to a good jabber.
#2 Once he's been caught by a good few jabs, he brings his left up quite high and doesn't tuck his elbows in to his sides, therefore leaving him open to body pucnhes
#3 Looks very uncomfortable when fighters go to the body
#4 When he is setting up the lead right hand, he often "paws" with his jab a few times first, making it easier to anticipate the quick, lead right he throws
So what do some of you think are the ways to tag the elusive Floyd, while trying not to get too much by his quick, accurate punches?
this is the core of what you need.
It wouldnt hurt if you have above average height, reach, chin, defense, handspeed, ring intelligence, foot speed, and other stuff either.
I think vernon forrest would be major trouble for floyd (roger said so himself somewhere). I also think tszyu would've been very tough for floyd, but tszyu does not have the height advantage of forrest.Comment

That might have something to do with him moving to his opponent's left, no?Comment

Someone faster than him, who is good at pressuring and doesnt get caught with counters...
currently i dont think anyone at 147 had that, PW could give him problems coz of his size, other than that he could get embarrased by Mayweather lol...Comment
