When a fighter is as dominant as Mayweather, you wind up looking for the holes in his game that perhaps someone can take advantage of. What struck me in that bout was Oscar's ability to land the 1-2 over the top. Towards the end of round 11, he landed a searing one-two that shook Floyd a little. But quite honestly other than that I thought Floyd dominated while being economical.

The more I think about a fight with Cotto, the more I think he would beat Floyd. A good stiff jab and repeated left hooks to the body would certainly by a way to beat Floyd.

Speaking of body shots, I was surprised how many left hooks to the ribcage Oscar landed. He's not a particularly dangerous body puncher, but it makes you wonder what someone like Cotto could achieve.

Delahoya won all the rounds in which he used his jab. And after seing what Manny did to DLH, I can't see why Mayweather or his *****s would be proud of such a boring performance.

Mayweather beat Oscar at 154. Oscar best weight class. Manny fought Oscar at 147, a weight Oscar was not ranked nor had a title.

Oscar stopped jabbing b/c Floyd started painting him with power shots in the center of the ring. Floyd could've ko'd Oscar had he thrown more punches, but that's not his style. FACT

I always felt Mosley had a better chance at Floyd. Cotto simply gets hit way too much and doesn't always take it well. I think it would be a tough fight for Floyd but Floyd's toughness is underrated. He'll give and take (see Corley, Chavez, Burton) but his punches get a lot harder when he's putting full force into them. He nearly dropped Oscar in the fifth with two beautiful counters. I don't see Cotto standing up to that but I do think he'd make Floyd squirm.
