i agree bat. we all know arum wants to milk pavlik, just like he does everyone else.
i see the next 2 fights as what they are confidence builders after a schooling. hopefully arum will do the right thing and make a good fight for the kid, and the fans. none of this still changes the fact though that aa has been a strap holder longer, yet has fought miranda for his high point. win or lose taylor 2x, and bhop pisses on mirandax2. if people are gonna get pissy about pavlik's resume they best look at the other, longer titled mw strap holders. as hitman stated, sturm, and aa live in the same freakin area, and can't make a damn fight. pathetic.

He was supposed to fight Duddy before and Duddy got cut up and blew it.

That is not Pavlik's fault, he should be over and done with this fight but the reality is he is not and his promotor is going to push it down his throat because it makes the most sense financially.

Abraham and Sturm can't even get a fight together when they live in the same country, and now people want to act like it is Pavlik that is holding back a mega fight. Abraham is the common denominator in both situations.

So if Arbraham is the common denomintor, and arthur willing to fight pavlik what is the debate about?

You didnt understand what Im trying to say. My point is AA is more qualified and deserving of a shot at Pavlik now then Pavlik was of getting one at Taylor, or before he faought Taylor. Im not implying that AAs resume is better because Pavliks wins over Taylor are huge, im stating that you cant brush off AA as irrelevant because it would be the equivalent of brushing off Pavlik as irrelevant before his fights with Taylor.

Why not? Taylor also fought a string of meaningless defenses.

The way I see it it's ok for Pavlik to fight a mediocre opponent after the Taylor fights. Also it's ok to fight Whobio to regain his confidence after the Hopkins schooling but to me it's hugely dissapointing lining up John 'Bloody' Duddy after Whobio when there's 2 brilliant opponents waiting in the wings.
