I think Mosley can beat Clottey & I'll tell you why. Clottey doesn't box, he stands there and go punch for punch. Clottey would give Mosley an easy target to hit like Margarito did. The only way to fight Mosley is to out box him like Cotto did and make him move because he will get gassed and start to lose his legs. Mosley is a boxer with a pressure fighters mentality. Cotto may have a chance to beat Clottey the same because Clottey just stands and waits for his opponent to open up so he can connect. Did you see how Zab was going off on Clottey (With No effect) but still Clottey gives up too many opportunities in the ring. I definitely feel Clottey would serve Berto, Cotto maybe, Mosley don't see it but anything can happen in the ring.

Joshua Clottey is actually my favorite welterweight. I've been saying how extremely underrated and avoided he is. It would be a shame if he had to retire. He may have to fight Qiuntana, Cintron or Collazo before he can get the top welterweights in the ring.

Mosely's wild over hand rights would miss all night. Clottey is highly underrated and highly dangerous. Mosely knows this and will likely never face Clottey.

Margarito, Gomez (alright, I'll give you that one), Mosley and Judah (on his last good showing) ain't no cupcakes, dude. I do wanna see Clottey get his chance, but he needs to put himself out there. It took Margo a while (before he threw all decency and his career down the toilet) but through thick and thin he stuck with doing it old school, keep winning until they call you. Call out that hack Cintrón, or Quintana. Get some mandatory challengers out of the way and they'll come calling. Kudos to him on helping his people. If it's true, it is pretty remarkable given that he hasn't really made that much money boxing.

I agree with the posters who said that Clottey needs to put himself about much more, and that calling out leading contenders who don't hold belts, like Cintron, Collazo and Quintana, would make sense.

Cintron doesnt want to fight Clottey.. thats why he avoided him in the past and moved up to fight MArtinez..

No one really cares about Quitana..

Collazo is going to be busy with Berto..

Hopefully Clottey gets the winner of Jennings/Cotto.. if not then it sucks for Clottey..

i think clottey has the style to beat shane but you never know,clottey is very defensive which makes for a close hard to score fight. i can't see clottey dominating any one except maybe berto everyone else would most likely be a split decision win or loss.
the truth is the clottey has not really fought anyone so the top ww can choose to avoid him but if clottey was to beat quintanna,collazo and cintron it would be much harder for the top ww to justify not fighting him
