Even if Mosley wants and takes 50% of the purse that still would be more money than Cotto would make in a bout with Clotty, Berto, or Cintron. If he fought Cintron around the Puerto Rican Day Parade that would be the most lucrative bout next to Mosley. So Bob has to come up with a better excuse to keep Cotto away from Mosley.

I totally agree with what you're saying but I think that Arum want's the best, less riskier, fight out there in order to have that Mega Fight with Pacquiao at the end of the year.
Mosley (in my opinion) has a better chance against Cotto than Berto, Cintron or Clottey and a fight against Pacquiao or event Hatton will generate much more than a Mosley fight.
One other thing that if the fight is with Pacquiao he will be the sole promoter instead of sharing with Golde Boy Promotion, if the fight ends up being with Mosley or Hatton.

could you imagine what arum would be thinking if cotto lost to Jennings? Tyson 40-1 vs Douglas.what are the odds for this fight? I don't really know anything about Jennings.I guess if cotto lost arum still has tye fields

I agree but the problem with Hatton or Pacquiao is that they fight in May 2, so it would be impossible for them to be available for Cotto in 1 month.

Mosley is going to be too risky for Cotto. If I were a betting man it's going to be Cotto vs. Berto in June. That's Cotto's best shot at winning his next fight if he were to defeat Jennings. Where on earth has Joshua Clottey gone???????
