Mosley vs. Cotto Rematch is Not Likely To Be Next

According to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, a rematch between Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley is probably not the next fight for Cotto, tentative for June 13. Should Cotto get past Michael Jennings on Saturday, Arum wants to get him the biggest money fight possible. With Mosley almost sure to make a demand of at least 50% or more of the split - he is not at the top of the list of possible opponents for Cotto's next fight. [details]

I must admit that although it's pretty obvious Cotto will beat Jennings I find all this media talk of who is next distasteful, at least give the poor kid a chance.

      Mosley vs. Clotty

Unification matches with either Berto or Clottey would be great, if not a rematch with Mosley. Cintron is... meh. Let him fight someone else.

Arum, saying he'll just get take the fight for the biggest money, and saying it's not for him, but his fighter.

          Awww, what a guy.

          Wanker.

Cintron or Berto would be ok I suppose though. Shane deserves a shot though, after all he's on the rise.

the big fights are made/look like being made in the LW and WW division. i think having a tournament in the division is not outside the realms of possibility.

i think williams could still make 147 and he might consider making the weight one last time to take on the undisputed champ - then again by the time we have an undisputed WW champ williams might be too big for 147.

if they're wanting to fight pac, it's not even a guarantee that he'd fight cotto after hatton.

great idea with the tournament! But before we look ahead wasn't Tyson 40-1 favorite over Douglas? Anyone know the results of the Holyfield vs valuev appeal? Yeah I know, who cares! I'm just curious
