I just dont get how Kessler was more deserving of a shot at calzaghe rather then Dawson. I mean that fight against a shot roy jones proved absolutely nothing, calzaghe himself was saying these kind of things before the fight got made, saying how jones was too old and stuff..........then he fights jones in a 'career defining fight'.

Now we have one guy who might actually be able to punish him for his mistakes in the ring, a guy who is young, hungry, speedy and could have the power to discourage calzaghe, but he wont fight Chad Dawson, cos he has nothing to prove?

Especially after he won a questionable decision against an old hopkins who had him down in round 1.

Why not prove beyond doubt who the best light heavy is, then retire?

Im not sure if any of those shot actually landed, sums up calzaghe tho, judges actually give him rounds for this kind of ****, if the judges wised up a little I doubt he would be unbeaten.
