Do you realize we get the same stuff said about Mundine here in the media with his manager saying how he offered Cal and Kess and or the other top fighters fights and they ran from him its the way media hype and bull**** work everybody says they want to fight somebody well known and the other guy said no , bottom line is if the fight ever happens with pretenders they dont fight them when they should only when things are their way , Calzaghe had no trouble going to the states onto the big stage when he finally did what was the hold up , take Jones and Bhop out of the equation then why didnt Joe go over to the states and throw his hat in , even Hatton said he should have went years earlier, I,ll tell you why its because he was getting extremely well paid with little risk at home just like Mundine is , its a business first and a fight second and run by promoters .

Calzaghe is 36 now he doesn't need to come out of retirement he is getting on now anyway, on the other hand with Mayweather just being 31 he probably does have a year or two left in him... depending on whether his heart would be in it or not.

Calzaghe is proabably better off left retired. Despite the fact that he didn't take the right fights at the right time he did what he had to do to solidify himself as a top competitor in the P4P ranks. Personally I would have loved to see him fight once more again Dawson or Johnson, but that was a delusional thought anyway. G**** on your career Joe and enjoy retirement.

How many serious negotiations has Mundine been in with those fighters' promoters, with Showtime agreeing to a deal; and exactly how many millions were those fighters offered to fight Mundine?

you know whats funny with that clip... Calzaghe was pummeling the hell out of that guy, then at the end the ref looked like he walked straight into a Calzaghe uppercut.... and wasn't affected.

Good. Stay retired. Your stock goes up with every moment that your record is not scrutinized.
