You really think Versus or ESPN has the type of budget to afford Cotto and Pavlik? Cotto's quote is like 10x more than the budget for an entire card of FNF.

I agree that $45 is too much, but this PPV was a necessity.

Maybe Cotto should consider following in thier footsteps. Matching Cotto against guys like Gomez and Jennings while in his prime is NOT going to help his career.
You have to understand this was all part of what was going to lead up to the Plasterito/Cotto rematch in the summer. But Plasterito with his handwraps ****ed everything up. Cotto should have a good opponent for his summer date and this fight is just there to give Cotto a tittle and something for the fans to look foward to. 45 bucks is nothing these days and for that you get four solid fights with two real big names.

Glad to hear that you're doing so well. I'd buy Wrestlemania before I paid for this ****. And what "four solid fights" are you talking about?

That doesn't surprise me considering who this is coming from. You have four entertaining bouts that will most likely end in KO and two of the biggest names in boxing today. They might not be matched up against comparable opponents but watching Cotto and Pavlik beat the **** out of someone is worth 45 bucks to me.

I prefer good quality competitve matchups, over a one-sided mismatch beatdown. Im sure many would agree.

Once again, please get past the insults and list these four entertaining bouts. The Peterson-Cherry fight was canceled, and the Duddy-Vanda fight is cable TV quality.

So Top Rank really had no other choice but to have it on PPV. Although it's ****** as hell that they are charging $45 or whatever it is. It should be $10-$20.
Agreed! This is badly over priced!

So do I, but one sided beatdowns are still fun to watch. I would rather have Cotto face Mayweather but that's not happening, so I will watch what's available instead. Just stop your complaining and don't pay for it, I'm going to. Why would it bother you?
