Though, Pavlik may suit his style since he doesn't move his head and might get caught with some of those caveman flurries but I really don't think there is any reason for Pavlik to be scared of Abraham.
I don't feel Arthur Abraham is overrated at all. He fought Heavy Hitting Edison Miranda with a broken jaw & still didn't get KO'd. In the 2nd fight he laid Miranda out cold. That doesn't sound overrated to me.

He has good power but honestly he lacks skill and often doesn't throw enough. So even though he may not be getting hit with a lot he still doesn't do enough sometimes to earn rounds. The problem is that the division is weak right now so I'm not sure there actually is anyone out there who can beat him at the moment but if someone like Hopkins was still around he would humiliate him.
agree with those two points......but AA does have a good amount of skill. He isn't a ATG or anything but he is the best MW at the moment.

        THANK YOU!

Let me correct you since your wrong. AA doesn't slip punches or dodge them; he covers up in shell like defence very similar to Winkys, but the different thing is he is blocking the shot. Many people watch AA fights and say "he's getting out punched, Miranda is throwing more and being more aggressive" this is exactly what AA wants. His opponent to throw more (while he block 90% of those shots with his shell like defence) and then he explodes
You missed my point because I never claimed AA was overrated. I just believe Pavlik has fought much better opponents. And I am just curious as to why when Abraham or Kessler fight European fighters they are worthy opponnts but when Calzaghe did it they where labeled as nothing but a collection of stiffs and tomato cans?

Rubio is a top ten contender. Hopkins was a P4P fighter above his weight class. Gary Lockett is the only tune up level fight he has taken. Dont get me wrong, I dont want to see him fight Duddy, but lets not act like its something it isnt.

Fair enough, especially from someone who's obviously a big fan.

Lockett was the alphabet mandatory for what that's worth. As is Rubio. Duddy ain't even that.

Yeah, Duddy is just a charismatic guy who can sell tickets. Oh man, this is gonna be ugly.

Rubio is overrated by The Ring Magazine, and should not be in the top ten. He's lost to Baysangurov, who lost to Bundrage. Rubio seems to be quite durable however, and so should last until the 7th round or so.

Rubio is another easy opponent for Pavlik, like Lockett was - but because they are mandatories, there is a justification for fighting them. However, if he takes on another easy one like Duddy next instead of 1) Arthur Abraham, 2) the winner of Williams-Wright, or 3) Felix Sturm, I will be very disappointed.
