Though, Pavlik may suit his style since he doesn't move his head and might get caught with some of those caveman flurries but I really don't think there is any reason for Pavlik to be scared of Abraham.
This is coming from a guy who has Shane Mosley in his avatar. Abraham didn't need to outbox Miranda, he just ko'd his ass cold. Mosley, outside of beating DLH, has lost every big fight he's ever been in. And don't even think about calling that dive Margarito did a victory for Shane.

AA's next opponent is rated at 33 by Boxrec and it is obvious that Pavlik has fought better fighters. It is also my humble opinion that even Sturm has faced better opposition.

middleweight isn't exactly a loaded division and most of the guys had great records, and he was making more in germany than he could in america, so why not.
he wants to fight pavlik and sturm too so it's not like he's running away from them.
      THANK YOU!

Let me correct you since your wrong. AA doesn't slip punches or dodge them; he covers up in shell like defence very similar to Winkys, but the different thing is he is blocking the shot. Many people watch AA fights and say "he's getting out punched, Miranda is throwing more and being more aggressive" this is exactly what AA wants. His opponent to throw more (while he block 90% of those shots with his shell like defence) and then he explodes

Well I feel this is the bigger loss for Pavlik. Arthur has the Pwill/Winky winner in the looms if Pavlik fights him. Pavlik's stock only descreases by fighting Duddy because it's a match no one wants right now.

I'd be fine with Sturm Pavlik first just to get Sturm out of the way. Abraham can fight the Pwill/Winky winner in the meantime.

Also what happened to JCC jr. fighting Duddy?

Abraham was winning the rounds with Miranda in the first fight, before he broke his jaw. The second fight was simply beautiful, Arthur really impressed me, he stuck to his gameplan, which was letting Miranda unload on him, and let him get careless, and that's when he would take advantage. I was impressed that he sacrificed a couple of rounds so that he could have Miranda where he wanted him. A lot of great fighters, like James Toney tend to do that a lot.

i understand what you say about arum and gbp and shaw making money and we the fans get nothing, well,in a way we are at fault too,i mean we buy the events...i think next time a ridiculous ppv and fans should not buy them, i mean we complain but end up buying them,i don't buy a lot of people obviously do,i am not going to buy the cotto/jennings fight, that is a mismatch and not an interesting fight, opponent,,,if he were to face a champion, thats different, but fights like this, oscar, manny, that whole card ******,thats ridiculous for fans to buy.

It seems to me like Bob Arum is a lil shaky about putting his fighters against the best at this point. I know Kelly Pavlik is not scared of Arthur Abraham & Miguel Cotto is not scared of Shane Mosley but Bob Arum surely is. He's been making excuses about his fighters won't be able to get the money they deserve if they fight guys like Mosley/Abraham?

He's delusional at best. Everyone wants to see Cotto/Mosley 2 & has been waiting forever for Pavlik/Abraham. I think this Margarito thing has got him a lil Nervous for real. He wants to keep putting them against lesser guys to keep that status going & risk low.

Yes, I'm aware that he has a shell defense and he's pretty good at it, but it's not air tight...hence the reason Miranda was getting punches in that eventually broke his jaw. He has good power but honestly he lacks skill and often doesn't throw enough. So even though he may not be getting hit with a lot he still doesn't do enough sometimes to earn rounds. The problem is that the division is weak right now so I'm not sure there actually is anyone out there who can beat him at the moment but if someone like Hopkins was still around he would humiliate him.

I'll be pissed if we don't get at least one unification match at 160 this yr. Nothin else in the division means anything.

                      Good post.

Duddy-Pavlik makes no sense, we all know who would win. But to clarify the middleweight division, we need Pavlik vs. Abraham.

Pavlik vs. either Sturm or the winner of Williams-Wright would be okay too.

I think if Wright defeats Williams, he would defeat Pavlik. Kelly is great against fighters who are offensive-minded and easy to hit like Rubio, Miranda, Zuniga, Duddy etc, but wouldn't do so well against a good defensive fighter like Sturm or Wright.
