Maybe Pavlik's team feel he needs a few tune ups? If that's the case then I've no problem with him fighting Duddy. Abraham, Sturm and Pavlik need to start sorting out who's the MW King of the division though.

Duddy isn't a bum. He's just not good enough to beat the elite MW's. Duddy is kinda like a bigger version of Gatti. He leaves it all in the ring and can win fights on pure heart alone, he's just not a great fighter, but he's a very good one. Duddy should be near any top 10 MW list IMO.

I like the way when Pavlik's facing two not top contendors it's ok, we know it's not Kelly's choice or fault, he needs the confidence builders, that he'd definitely fight a top guy if he could.

Yet when Kessler or someone do the same, it's we know it's Mikkels choice, he's a wimp, he needs to face better competition, whose he beaten, he wouldn't even fight a top guy if he had the chance

Sorry but the assumptions about the fighters behind the scenes always seem favourable to some, yet very critical of others.
