Nah. Good luck to 'Nard in whatever he chooses. Dude has nothing to prove to anyone, and going out on a great win like his over Pavlik is something I'd personally be happy with. He still has something left in the tank. Bernard is a freak, no matter what his age says, but it's a good time to close the book.

As for Dawson, he is obviously a very good fighter, but at this point in his career I doubt he could deal with the amount of experience and ring smarts Bernard would show him. Bernard hasn't slipped mentally or physically to the point where he would be beaten by any of the young dudes.

As much as I respect Bernhard Hopkins as a boxer and would always like to see him fight on, I much rather like to see him go out on a high note with his win over Kelly Pavlik & just do the business side of boxing & keep the sport thriving. From reading this interview I can see that he already knows what needs to be done & I'm glad to see that all his hard work has paid off even when the critics tried to down play him but clearly Hopkins is one of the best boxers/fighter/Champs of this era & will always be respected as a warrior. BHOP is a cool cat & I'm glad that I had the pleasure to meet & chill with him.

I remember when we met in Las Vegas through my people at the Magic convention in 04 and I gave him one of my vinyl records as a present & said "THAT'S FOR WHIPPING FELIX TRINIDAD'S ASS" he was like "Good Looks" then I saw him with his entourage at the "Maxim Magazine" party in the "Ghost Bar" at The Palms Hotel & my peoples introduced us again & Bernhard jump up through all his people & said "OH MY MAN" and gave me a pound, I was speechless. thats what make ppl great i guess...... taking unnecessary risks...... at least in the eyes of the ****heads on here.... he said jones was old news......honestly i think a fight with taylor would most likely be his next option

If I were Hopkins I would hang em up on a high note. That fight will easily be an ESPN classic in the future and I couldn't imagine a better way to go out.
