1. Wladimir Klitschko - most accomplished European fighter
2. Vitali Klitschko - arguably the best heavyweight in the world
3. Mikkel Kessler - best super middleweight in the world
4. Arthur Abraham - arguably the best middleweight in the world
5. Tomasz Adamek - best cruiserweight in the world
You get p4p used as an arguing point time and time again. Whilst often I question quite how much weight it has, it does have a considerable amount.
It's hardly controversial or wrong to stand by most p4p rankings, in saying Mikkel Kessler or Abraham are better than Wlad Klitschko when their miles apart as judged by most p4p rankings in the sport.
I also argue that the apparent bad state of the HW division is often exaggerated.
But the fact is, Wlad Klitscko is in a weak division, has a number of losses, is much much lower p4p than Kessler or Abraham, whom even on this site are near to breaking the top 10 p4p.
It's an absolute no brainer.
I'm amazed so many have voted otherwise, very flawed.
In head to head contrast, the heavyweight division is in better shape than SMW. I think most would agree too. Another thing in terms of facing top 10 ranked competition in their respective divisions, it would be Wladimir ahead by a great margin too I'm afraid.
Not to point fingers, but the fact that the majority of posters don't necessarily agree with you should start to tell you something after a while. No offense.
I voted for Wlad, because he's unified the titles and had so many successful title defenses. He's not been down or even slightly hurt in a fight the past few years. Vitali may be better, but he's only fought once in over four years.
If Abraham defeats Pavlik, that will prove he's at least close to the best. Kessler may be the most talented, but he's suffering from bad management that's holding him back.
I am not the biggest Wlad fan but I am no dummy. Wlad has defended his titles a ton of times and usually ko's his man.
Abraham is probably second, but Wlad has put on a clinic with everybody he's been in with the last 4 years or so.
I can probably count on one hand the number of rounds, he's lost in his last 7 fights or so. Probably a couple of fingers.

Good post...
Wlad had a couple of poor fights a few years ago, but in the years since then, he's done undeniably well.
Wlad is a dominant heavyweight champ, he has a much better resume than Kessler and Abraham.
Wlad gets my vote
stop hatin man......I'm well rounded when it comes to ALL sports, not just boxing!
no disrespect to some you dudes because some of you are legit posters......but how can a guy who's been stopped 3 times be ranked higher than the UNDEFEATED middleweight champ who just so happens to be the #1 ranked fighter in Germany with a 82 KO%.....or a guy who's been ranked no lower than 2 in his division for like 5 yrs straight......his ONLY lost(a UD) was to the division's #1.....Wlad has a 10 fight winning streak dating back to 2004.....but in one of those fights he hit the floor 3 times against Sam Peter...the same Sam Peter his brother made look like **** after takin' 4 calendars off.....the 10 fight win streak is impressive but Abraham has a longer one.....the BEST fighter Wlad ever fought was who? Calvin Brock? Sultan Ibragimov? Chris Byrd?.....I can't call it.....but Kessler went 12 rounds with Calzaghe in Wales with the stakes at the highest......he held his own under the circumstances and walked away KNOWING he lost his "0" to the better man.......Wlad lost fights and NONE were the better man! I'm done tryin to drop ***els on you dude.....Time Masters Illusion!

The HW division is not in better shape than SMW, and I'm pretty damn sure most would agree. I'm surprised you've said that given so many criticise the HW division as very poor, and SMW is often referred to as a lot deeper now.
As for top ten ranked opponents, again your indicating you've not read up on the top 10 opponents Kessler has fought to even be able to compare;
Note he has also only lost to one of them, that being a p4p guy and best ever SMW. Can Wlad even come close to saying something like that? No.
Majority is also not 8 or so % Chase, which is the difference between Wlad and Kessler on that list. That is a minority.
Also this is a forum with subjective views.
Look at any more experienced, specialists sources in the industry, in terms of their p4p rankings Kessler beats Wlad and pretty much all of the credible ones.
This is exactly like saying say Chad Dawson is the best current American boxer.
He too, is clearly, significantly behind at least two other Americans in most credible p4p rankings.
The exact same applies with Wlad, Kessler and Abraham.
