  • Who is the best currently active European boxer?

I've made this thread for the US, now I'll make a similar one for Europe.

    Poll coming.

I've excluded British fighters from the poll, I'll make other threads later for Britain and Australia.

Before I see the poll (meaning I probably forgot the real right answer), I would say Mikkel Kessler off the top of my head. Very, very good and very, very underrated.

Shout out to the Klitschko brothers.

      Wladimir Klitschko.

After that I'd say Kessler, if we're talking talent and not record.

Abraham hands down. Kessler is still fighting out of Denmark for god's sake! He'll be in his mid 30's and still be fighting out of Denmark i think.

I voted for Wlad, because he's unified the titles and had so many successful title defenses. He's not been down or even slightly hurt in a fight the past few years. Vitali may be better, but he's only fought once in over four years.

If Abraham defeats Pavlik, that will prove he's at least close to the best. Kessler may be the most talented, but he's suffering from bad management that's holding him back.
