that would be true if floyd had indeed retired... for instance, hopkins is semi-retired but he is currently p4p #2.

Shane Mosley is 37 and he aint getting any younger. He still old, but he has come from having a great performance. If Floyd waits too much thet would say he beat a fighter that was washed up. He should fight him while Shane still has something left in the tank.

        Mayweather: "I'm retired."

Hopkins: "I still have another fight in me."

        I see a difference.

In case you haven't noticed, Floyd is retired and isn't in the division.

yet, everybody calls his ****ing name out when they win their biggest fight don't they? why blame floyd fans and not the fighters themselves? huh? i bet you can't answer that one logically woithout having to bite that little tongue you have and agreeing with the fans. i mean, these fighters are calling out floyd, floyd's not calling them out, he's happily retired. his haters and the fighters themselves call his name because they know that in order for their favorite fighter to truly be called the best, they have to go through the very best, and that's floyd, period. face it crybaby.

newsflash, this has been said already about other fighters he fought. i mean, it really doesn't matter. floyd said it best, shane waits until the end of his career to call out floyd, floyd already knew shane was washed up, and even though shane beat margo, and in impressive fashion, he knows that fighting floyd is fighting a grade A+ fighter, the best fighter. this is why he didn't fight him in 2005, 2002, and 2006. he knew the outcome before the fight. he waited until floyd fought oscar at 154 and looked slower to want to fight floyd, and floyd's much better skillwise overall than shane has ever been and will ever be. i mean, fluidity, floyd owns shane, counterpunching, floyd owns shane, movement, floyd owns shane. fighting off the ropes, floyd owns him, whether offensively or defensively, floyd owns him. jab, floyd crushes shane. shane started using the jab to the body after floyd and looks sloppy throwing it. floyd is the much better fighter and you all know it.

have anyone noticed that mosley has always had problems with fighters quicker than him?? PBF would kill him even with the two years of the ring

I'd be comfortable saying that Mosley was faster than Wright, Forrest and Cotto to be honest...

It's taller jabbers that generally bother him. I don't know what it was about Cotto that got the win, I just don't remember enough of that bout to give you an accurate statement.

hopkins also said "i'm only fighting if its calzaghe"... calz = retired.

                    get the similarity?

Hopkins hasn't announced officially announced his retirement like Mayweather or Calzaghe has.
