Completely irrelevant. My point was that fighters always have to be somebody else before they can fight Floyd. Cotto will have to beat Mosley again, then rematch Margarito. Its always a case of PBF will fight A, B, or C if they beat the winner of D, E, F. Blah, blah.

To be the best you have to beat the best (quoting Floyd here), which Floyd is amongst. I just don't understand why top fighters like Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao, Williams etc aren't able to get a fight without beating all other opposition first. Its always if he beats so and so PBF will fight him...

      get the similarity?
Less than 2 weeks after Calzaghe's retirement, he has also said that he would entertain the notion of fighting Dawson, so...

"I'm retired" doesn't leave you much wiggle room.

"I'm only fighting if..." leaves you some room to work, because people do realize that can be a bargaining chip. Being retired for over a year, and turning down a rematch with ODLH means he is pretty much for sure retired.

no, not irrelevant at all. the fighters call his name. he's called out mosley, wanted cotto at 140, idk about williams and margarito, but maybe except williams, all of those fighters have called out floyd recently or had their team do it for them. i mean, what's that's saying . i see your point about beating the best and alphabet theory. unfortunately, it's always been that way. many fighters would dream to have that happen to them. they would dream to have the distinciton of having people claim that so and so has to beat him and him and the winner gets that fighter who is the best. floyd's so good, like leonard was, like robinson was, like ali was, like jones was, like whitaker was, like louis was, like tyson was, like lewis was, that people want to see that one fighter emerge to be the one to beat him. the fighters are only enhancing this theory by calling him out, and he's retired, yet, their making offers to his camp. why is this happening. why arent's you criticizing the fighters who feel they need ot beat him to truly be the best, because once again, they know who the best is, and it's floyd, bar none.

The ironic thing is, I think Floyd can beat him now.

I mean Mosley looked good against Tony because Tony was the first fighter Mosley faced that didn't even put up half an effort to move out of the way out of those loaded hooks. Tony just stood there taking them, he didn't bother ducking or even attempt to pick em up visually. He just covered up and ate em.

I doubt Mayweather would be that willing to eat those shots, **** Luis Collazo wasn't even that willing to eat those shots.

I wouldn't be suprised if Mosley enters the ring not looking nearly as good as he did for the Margo fight. I think Mosley's ideal opponents would be Cotto and Berto, both of em are kinda weak.

floyd could probably always beat mosley outside of 135 lbs... i give mosley a great chance to beat floyd there.''

its true margo's hittability made mosley lood great though.
